We called for an emergency appointment for a sick kitten and were scheduled for the same day. The staff and Dr. were caring and showed great compassion when informing us our kitten likely has lymphoma. While the diagnosis was heartbreaking, Dr. Bustamente and her staff are helping us provide comfort care so our pet can have the very best life in the time he has left. We are so grateful for all the kindness and care Johnny has received here.

We just lost are Golden last week and the Assistant was beyond understanding and compassionate! Her and the Doctor gave us the time we needed to say our Goodbyes.

We’ve been taking all 3 of our dogs here for years. Never once have we had anything but compassionate, kind, and amazing experiences. Recently our sweet 3yo German shepherd mix Mia started getting really sick and stopped eating and drinking. We took her to the Emergency vet downtown on July 4th and they were HORRID to her and charged so much to just give her subq fluid and send her on her way. We took Mia to SVAHHC first thing the next morning when she was even more lethargic than the night before. We had no appointment but they took her in and actually did tests and treated her. She spent the day getting IV fluids, meds and lots of love from the staff and they actually got her to eat. I could have cried from relief when we picked her up at the end of the day and her ears actually perked up and she had some bounce in her steps. Even though the price tag was hefty ( WORTH IT ) I actually felt like the care she received was equally as high. Unlike the awful experience we had the night before. I hope the staff at SVAHHC knows just how important and appreciated they are!

The staff here are truly amazing and have never given less the best care to our animals and support to us and our questions. Responsive, Knowledgeable, Responsible, and affordable. I couldn't imagine taking our fur babies to anyone else. They are always willing to communicate with doggy daycare or a boarder as needed.

This place has been the best vet clinic that I have been to in the Spokane area. They’re always friendly and make you feel welcome. You can tell that all of the employees genuinely care about animals. My dogs always love coming here!

We have been going to Valley Animal Hospital for over 15 years. We used to love this office, in the recent year they have gone down hill.

Being a longtime patient of there’s didn’t give any kind of benefit, their prices have soared. The kindness and compassion just isn’t there anymore. Whatever changes the office made were NOT in their favor. We have switched veterinarians and are already so much happier. Please reconsider going here after doing research on other clinics.

We used to love this place when we first moved here and my dog was OBSESSED with coming here. I’d never seen her so excited to go to a place. She would also board here. But something has happened over the last few yrs. I’d noticed they were at 2 stars and now all of the sudden they have a huge influx of reviews and they’re almost 5 stars now . Something seems off as if they’ve got fake reviews. It was the first thing I noticed when I tried to find their number. The service has gone down hill and I don’t love to take my dog here any longer. And I just got quoted $8-$1200 for a teeth cleaning for my extremely docile dog. I’m finally deciding to change vets.
