Very knowledgeable and kind doctor that handles my large breed quite well. She listens and understands my concerns.
One of the vet techs are not my favorite to work with. While they seem to like my pup and are good with handling her, the vet tech seems to glare at me the whole time. As if I've done something wrong.
The one girl at the front desk, Kaite, didn't call me back when I was trying to schedule an appointment but is always kind and good with my pup as well while she's in the building, which really is what it's about. Prices are also very fair here, though I'd suggest buying food and meds elsewhere if possible.

This place has gone down hill .How can any vetinary run with only one vet on duty at all times and take care of all the people that need there pets taken care of and not rushed thru a appointment. Also what happens if she gets sick then you have to deal with someone you don't even know to take care of your pet . I don't know about anyone else but I want a vetinary that is there for me if I am in need and not get told that they are to busy to take care of my needs that day . Of course with only one vet on duty why wouldn't they be busy.

I was thinking of changing vetinary hospitals, but Dr. Bogdan, who merged with Sherman Hill, has changed my mind. She had me come in almost immediately when my Daisy got sick. She called twice to make sure she was improving. She understands that I want to bring in my pets only once for well care.

I’ve been going to Sherman Hill for years. I now have a new puppy and brought him in and things have not changed. The care and support that this team offers is top notch for your pet. Jenny, Nicole, and their team of vets have always been a wonderful experience for me and my animals. I highly recommend them to anyone in my area.

I love Dr Kris. at South Brooke in Woodbury …She is compassionate . Loves animals, does not rush into decisions on meds. Careful in her treatments, comfortable to speak to, never has an attitude , but treats Max like a human. I have gone to her for 10 years … following her from Southbury Vet.

Regular customer for 15 years, Dr Nash is a saint, an old school vet with a big heart, I don't think he is doing office hours any more.

The staff is always great, our dogs have gone there for lifelong care and even the final goodbye.

Saw Dr Zubovic a few days ago: was caring, friendly and informative.

I have been a client for 11 years but today was the last straw. After Dr. Nashe began semi retirement a few years ago, the quality of care at Sherman Hill Animal Hospital went downhill. Now there is a revolving door of doctors, some good, others not at all…all with different health assessment opinions about the same dog. The staff is caring but bumbling and uniformed, sometimes rude and condescending to their customers - yes I’m talking to you Zheni.
Reordering medication procedure was inefficiently handled by the person on the phone and then I received the wrong medication for my dog that I reordered. When I told her that I was disappointed with the practices and will likely not be back, her answer was “Good”. A valued client I am not after all these years and annual visits that are no less than $750 after testing and medications.
Kinda sad because in my dogs senior years, I have to find him someone to bring him through his last days when it should have been the group who we used since he was a puppy.

UPDATE: I took the dog to a “get acquainted” appointment to his new vet two weeks after this incident. After reviewing his chart, they suggested doing a blood test…his liver enzymes doubled in 3 months since his last visit with liver medication! Further testing and different medications were ordered. We have another blood test follow up to see the results. ? If I didn’t have the experience with rude Zheni, no one would have known about it until it be became a big issue that might not have been treatable.

I brought my puppy here and every visit I have left feeling irritated and dissatisfied. Right off the bat they got all of my contact information incorrect phone address name - how this is possible to get every piece of info I give wrong I don’t know… so when my puppy’s results for having a positive GI infection came back I wasn’t notified. When I asked about this and worms I was misinformed about the worms I saw bc his gi infection had nothing to do with the worms, which is why someone who isn’t educated shouldn’t be answering questions to the patients or giving results, the provider should be doing that. Any question that I have brought to them about his ears, food, worms, symptoms he’s been experiencing they have said they don’t know. I feel like Google and I are the vet so idk what I’m paying them for. They forget something almost every visit. They forget to ring something up every visit so I have to pay multiple times. And this last visit I’m getting charged for an exam fee from the veterinarian except the vet tech or whatever she is, receptionist wrote down all of my questions which the vet had no answers for and then she gave my dog the injections so why am I paying the vet fee when she comes in for 5 seconds and touches my dogs belly and the receptionist does everything else. And I should be asked before someone else who isn’t qualified and isn’t the vet is going to be giving injections to my dog, that should be my decision, not theirs. Also they aren’t welcoming when you walk in, the place is mad dirty and old. Not professional looking or acting, not helpful, going somewhere else.
