I consider the Sonoma Animal Hospital staff to be part of our extended family. Beginning with Dr. Sutton and continuing with Dr. Sleep, they have cared for our cats and dogs in sickness and in health. I personally value the support I received in ending the lives of my last two cats, one after 18 years and another, recently, after 8 years. His diagnosis of kidney failure was made easier for me to understand and accept after Dr. Sleep and Justine patiently explained the course of the disease and the outlook. When it was time to put my dear pet down, I knew that they, as well as Cyndie, Maddie, and Olivia, understood my pain and shared it. And when I was gifted with another cat this month, the staff of Sonoma Animal Hospital welcomed him into the family.

Shortly after arriving in Sonoma, Mollie started having serious allergy issues. It was nice to get a relatively quick appointment and be treated with such care. Mollies issues were quickly resolved.

My dogs have been going here for a few months now and the staff is amazing. I love the way Dr Sleep will come out to the car to let you know what he found and explain treatment and answer any questions. My boy whiskey loves going there. No fear or hesitation, he must know he's gonna be treated well. Thank you Dr Sleep and staff for all you do for my babies.

We moved to the area recently in search of a vet. Many weren't accepting new patients but this vet was. It was a routine check up and our dogs first time being there and meeting this vet. He barely acknowledged her, let alone said hi. He did manage to say "she has an attitude" when she was getting her shot. I'd honestly be a little annoyed to if a random guy came into a room and shoved a needle in my neck without acknowledging me but hey, that's just me. He also commented on her teeth having gingivitis but gave no solution until my husband had to ask him again and he just said "give her some dentastix". We will be in search of a new vet - hopefully one that respects and cares about dogs and their owners. TIP - go to yelp reviews for some interesting reviews on this place. Wish we'd known before.
