Milo our 2 year old retriever/shepherd mix completed the 4-day day and train program. We brought Milo to Sit Means Sit to work on his confidence, walking without pulling, and general obedience training. Robin, David, Cedrick, and Jessica were so patient with Milo. They poured so much time, energy, and love into helping him work through his anxiety. After each session they modeled the skills they spent teaching Milo that day then had my husband and I implement the skills while providing corrective feedback. We were so pleased with our experience with Sit Means Sit. It is not a quick fix to any deficits your dog may have, but the owners and staff of Sit Means Sit give you the tools and the confidence to continue the life long training at home.

Milo is now able to walk on the leash without pulling, sit, come, and place on command. He is also able to remain quiet when deliveries come to our home and not chance after the vacuum while I am cleaning.

We cannot wait to continue to see Milo improve. We give all the thanks to Robin, David, Cedrick, and Jessica at Sit Means Sit.

We rescued Vader, a beautiful and protective Anatolian Shepherd and Dalmatian mix, when he was over a year old. His breed mix, known for its strong-willed and sometimes aggressive nature, made integrating him into our household quite challenging. With two other dogs, three cats, and a bustling home full of people, we were at our wits’ end trying to manage Vader’s behavior.
Vader was difficult to control; he would frequently attack other animals in the house and his strength made walking him a daunting task—he could easily pull my shoulder out of its socket! We knew we needed professional help, and that’s when we found David and Robin with Sit Means Sit.
Their training program was a game-changer. Before his 10 days of intensive training, Vader was nearly unmanageable. But after working with David and using the techniques and collar they provided, he became a completely different dog. Now, Vader listens and comes when called, goes to his designated place on demand, and will even calmly go to his kennel when asked.
We couldn’t be more grateful for the help we received. The best part of the entire experience was seeing how happy Vader was during his training—he had a smile on his face the whole time David was working with him. Sit Means Sit didn’t just train Vader; they helped him become a cherished and well-behaved member of our family. We still have some work to do with Vader and intend to continue working with David and Robin as he grows.

We inherited my daughters dog Oakley. He is a two year old Australian Shepard. He was attacked prior to coming to us, and since then he is reactive and aggressive. He is so good with us we didn't want to give up on him but we saw him as a safety concern to others. We cannot recommend Robin, David and their staff enough. We took them a 4 week old bulldog, that while sweet, didn't know how to listen or follow any commands. Two weeks later, we got back a house broken, well behaved little gentleman that listens to commands and follows directions. We cannot believe the transformation he made in such a short time. He's still a puppy but we have never seen a puppy so well behaved. Robin and David clearly have a love for these animals. Their attention to detail and high level of patience with these animals is clear to see. Thank you both so much for helping our dog!
