My 3rd rehab at Sheltering Arms but 1st time at Short Pump facility. I am amazed at the work & abilities available to us needing rehab. They teach options for tasks, they're compassionate, they listen, they push your limits and one important fact, they keep you safe.

Words can not describe the amount of love and care these people have! They made my wife feel safe and heard every step of the way. She had a TBI and was here for 5 weeks. Everyone from OT, PT and speech therapy, the nurses and techs were amazing. Highly recommend. You really want your loved ones to come here.

Omg, I went in there not able to walk, and 3 weeks later, I was walking on the walker and it gave me so much hope! I was in a dark place when I went there, but your Drew, and all the staff, nurses,techs, and Doctors were so wonderful, not only did they help me everyday, they gave me hope, that someday, I would be able to walk again without help. I would recommend Sheltering Arms Institute to anyway that wants to be independent. I stayed there from 6/11/2022 to 7/1/2022. Everyone that I came across in every Dept. and category was amazing! Best three weeks I spent in hospitals for my Spine Surgery and Rehab. Thank you!!! You are all very special!!!!

I went here after spinal cord surgery. I received 3 hours of therapy a day. The RN nurses were very knowledgeable and friendly. The nurse aids were egar to help and friendly. The physical therapist were helpful and hard working. This place was a little slice of heaven for me. I would've gave it 5 stars but I wish my stay could've been a couple of months. WARNING if you go to another facility after this one prepare to absolutely miss this place because I sure did. Thank you, for the experience love Marquita Binns.

The people are friendly, and the environment is clean. The staff is very professional and attentive. If you go there, I highly recommend asking for Stacie at 13530 Hull Street. She is polite, skilled, and excellent at working with people. I would give her a perfect 10 out of 10 for her experience and professionalism.

The facility cares only about the money. The RNs are really nice and the therapists too. However the case managers there are the worst. They have an attitude and they treat you bad.

My husband was an in patient at sheltering arms. He received phenomenal care. Every specialty is extremely knowledgeable in their speciality. They have goals for their patients and they achieve them . But most of all the kindness and support they provide the patients who are scared warms your heart .My husband was recovering from a traumatic event in his life. After discharge we continued treatment as an out-patient. Everyone cheers everyone as they achieve a goal no matter how small. It feels like a family atmosphere. They care and know their patients needs. Every nurse, techs on the floor, nutrition, doctors are all excellent.
Special shout out to all nurses and techs on second floor , as well as Erin, Lindsay, Jesse. and Maddie! And thank you Shannon for your smile and organizing all the appointments! Also shout out to Lauren and Jenny occupational therapy !

My dad needed this physical therapy at sheltering arms 2-3 times now for separate things and hands down a great place for rehabilitation and they get the job done quickly.Deserve 10 stars!
