This place is very well known. If you don’t have insurance they can usually cover your cost. This is perfect, because when you are in active addiction you usually have other “more important” things that require your money, so insurance premiums usually take a back seat. They teach a lot of interesting things here, some things you learn could even save your life. It’s a 30 day program. They go through the first 4 steps with you. The graduation part, specifically once you walk back over from the chapel, is powerful. One thing I held on to there was the “Five Alive” and their guarantee that if you just kept doing these 5 specific things you’ll have a 100% success rate in staying sober. But if you start to get lazy in just one of those areas, you could be in danger of relapse. I thought this was a pretty bold and almost ludacris deal at first, but I’m writing this review 5 months and 1 day sober and can tell you that they are right. If you are in active addiction, you’re struggle is real. You’re probably believing the lie that you’re destined for a sub par life and don’t deserve the happiness and success that you see everyone else around you experiencing. I know I was, but you need to know that you are worth it. It’s not too late to live your best life, and you shouldn’t settle for anything less. You may be lost on the road right now, but this place can and will get you back on track. Even if you don’t have anyone else right now, you at least owe it to yourself check it out. I’m here to tell you the other side of life that you have been avoiding is waiting for you. And along with it, real freedom.

I was kicked out too for protecting my self from a bully that tried to scare me way to many times, I even went to a person who was in charge warned them about it and nothing happened so when I finally couldn’t take the abuse any more I stood up for my self and was kicked on the streets at 1130 at night on a Saturday night no where to go my family dropped me off and they were 4 hours away I had no money with all my stuff walking around all night. I had 3 encounters on streets that night my life was put in danger. I’ve been here before in 2020 and then back in 2022 but 2020 was the best time I ever had only because the head of staff was very organized and helpful and very understanding and cared about the people there but when they changed head of staff it was a totally different environment in 2022 the energy was completely different and negative. I want to give it another try but I definitely don’t want to put my self in a position to where I have to fend for my self and get kicked out late at night. I go to rehab to be comfortable to get away from life so I can try and live another day but if I give this place a try I definitely don’t want the same thing that happened on 2022 happen again. This place can be great if the person who was in charge was great I’d put it at the top of rehab places for sure but if ran by someone who is not caring or understanding I’d definitely put it at the bottom. Should I give this place a try again as my life is in danger out here in my home town and I can’t find any other state funded rehabs as of right now

A wealth of information!! If you're truly looking to learn how to live a different kind of life, you can't beat this place. Oh and the food is great, plus they still let you smoke cigarettes, if you're a smoker like me.

Update: Just picked up my ONE YEAR clean last week!! This place really helped me build a strong foundation for my sobriety.

I will never forget each and every individual that I met at this facility. Every counselor, tech, cafeteria worker, nurse ect. had a huge impact on my life and my recovery. I was shown a love and kindness that I had not seen in a very long time. I owe this place my life, If it wasn't for Serenity and my higher power I would not be where I am at today.

Serenity house was a blessing 🙏
I was there from May 17,2021 to June 22,2021 I prayed for help for so long and with the love and support from my two amazing kids Sarah Elizabeth and Cory Wayne they got me and my husband Gary Wayne in Serenity house. I can’t say enough good things about my recovery there Everyone that works there touched our lives and made all my prayers come true. Most of all I want to thank my two angels
