We love Second Home Pet Resort. Our little Dora does daycare several times a week and we've also boarded her. Since attending daycare, she's become less shy around both people and other dogs. She also usually comes home ready to nap so we know she's playing/exercising which is great during summer when we can't take as many walks.

The staff is amazing and the facility is nice and clean, and has a water park for the doggies.

My dog just had his second visit for boarding. I started with a phone call then an in-person visit. The staff is amazing. Answered all my questions plus took me on a tour. I felt really comfortable leaving him. It's great that there are options to customize his stay. He's a big guy so I got the Elite Patio the first time and then Elite (patio books fast!). He also goes on a hunger strike when I leave him so I'm so impressed with the staff and their ability to get him to eat. Last visit we did an activities package that had some extra stuff and we got a daily email report card with photos. Love that. As nice as the facility, the location and staff, the best part, he does not come home anxious, upset...seems relaxed like he had a good time.

I recently had not such a good phone experience trying to book a nail appointment for my dogs. However, I booked this past week and was seen on 7 Oct and it was the usual GREAT service. I think it may have been a one off when I called and it was a new receptionist. When I walked in my old 16 year old pug was greeted with, "Hey Oliver" Even though she new he was deaf, it was great to know that she knew the dog after 12 years of service there. I would 100% recommend Second home. Thank you

They took great care of our two big dogs, Bailey & Kayla Marie. The staff are very attentive and handle all levels of exuberance well. The groomer did an excellent job on our husky mix! Puppers would love to go back!

We left our big fur baby with them for 2 weeks while we were out of town seeing family and didn’t have a lot of notice so we had to find a place fast. After looking at 10 other places we were referred here by their amazing groomer. They went above and beyond for our dog. She was so nervous she wouldn’t eat for 4 days and they tried everything. They went as far as making her grilled chicken and hamburgers. They showed her so much love and attention. All of their suits are amazing and so is the staff. We had a very bad experience last year with a different pet boarder so we were very nervous but Second Home Pet was so amazing and called us all along the way to let us know how she was and how her eating was going. We also had her groomed and she is a very nervous dog but they said she did great. When we picked her up she was happy and healthy and even acted less nervous around other people after we got her home. Thank you so much. You all are amazing and we will be using you again!

Best pet resort in Phoenix and long overdue review. Extremely well run. We’ve had both our dog and cat stay here and the staff is so caring and goes above and beyond to make sure your pets are comfortable and taken of. After looking at several other boarding places in the valley, I’m so glad we found this place. You can tell the staff are all animal lovers by their attitude and how much they care. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to board your pets.

Such an amazing experience! We had our puppy in for her first hair cut and they did awesome with her. I was prepared for a not a great hair cut since she is a puppy and takes a while for her to understand it. But her cut was perfect and she looks amazing! My Golden Doodle is very happy and loved being there. The communication and staff was also outstanding! She also left with a matching flower on her collar! 🙂 Thank you!!

Our pets are like children to us so when we needed to find a place to stay, the name Second Home Pet Resort really resonated with us. When we drove up to take a tour, it was literally like driving up to a hotel to check in. The Elite Suite was more than enough space for our dogs to room together, plus it was connected to an outside patio that they could also enjoy.

They were given play time every day or just the 4 of them outside in the spacious yard for that even had a water feature. They also had cuddle time in a cozy room either one of the staff members to love on them.

Our English bulldog, Mollie, is 9 yrs old and is very skittish of both people and other dogs so when I saw pictures of her enjoying their stay, I KNEW we found the right fit.

The staff was incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable about our breeds and the affect heat has on them and they truly cared for our dogs! We got pictures every day and I'm so glad we trusted Second Home Pet Resort with our fur babies, they received excellent care!
