I am unsure if they know what they are doing. Communication there is pretty bad. We go in to the ER because my husband has really bad back pain that started acting up while we are moving across the country. So we don’t live around here just passing through when he happened to need assistance. We get in pretty quick and it’s empty. So we are seen quick(that’s a good thing) we give them a little about his history and NO EXAM, NO SCANS NOTHING was done besides giving him some meds and a shot and sending him on his way which is fine with us because we aren’t locals and will never be back. But when communicating with the NP he makes it seem like there’s more they can do and that if we ask the Doc questions we may be able to get some help. When speaking with the Doc he’s looking at us like there’s nothing he can do he basically wrote a script gave a Vicodin and a shot and was like bye. Which was fine . We were confused but since doc said that’s all then that’s all. When we talk to the NP (think his name was Kenny but I’m unsure) he said we can go to Walmart and get our meds and doc said we were good to go but there was no paperwork or anything so we aren’t use to that and went the front desk to get the script or sign some paperwork but there was nothing. The front desk lady said we don’t need one it’s all done electronically and that they sent it to Walmart. I get to Walmart and Walmart says they didn’t send it. I call back and the front desk lady transfers me to the nurses and the nurse says it’s at the pharmacy at the hospital! I said “ you said it was being sent to the Walmart” it was quite and then he said no he thinks it’s there. I come back to the hospital just to be handed the two pieces of paper for the script that I ORIGINALLY asked for before we left and was told they will fill it at the dang Walmart!!!!!!! I’m so happy I don’t live with this type of hospital around us.
