I took my 14 yr old son " Cat Mateo " for the 1st time to Safe Harbor recently & found them to be the most kind & caring group of people I've ever encountered when it comes to Mateo & his well being.. I was met with open arms & smiles from Miss Bree & Miss Pat at the front desk apon arrival. Dr Eagan was one of a kind, She was amazing with Mateo & very motherly with him, not to mention very thural with my concerns. I left there knowing Mateo will get the best of care @ a reasonable price from now on..Thank you all for making us both a part of ur family, I truly feel great about Mateos well being in his future. Safe Harbor is an outstanding veterinarian clinic. I’ve taken my dogs for four years. I have a high strung cattle dog and they always handle him perfectly. They had my dog literally eating out of their hands after his most recent examination. As a bonus, Amber at the front Orphy desk is a star. Warm, helpful and knowledgeable. A five star vet in every way.

The staff here is amazing. The Vet was also incredible. I found a very small and dehydrated kitten in my ferns. Terrified for the little thing I got her into the vet right away. The staff was able to fit me in and had everything they needed me to have to get this little kitten healthy. Two weeks later, she has doubled in weight to a healthy two and a half pound happy Kitten. Thank you Safe Harbor! I won’t take my fur family any where else!

I had to find a new vet after our wonderful vet of 10 years passed away. I chose Safe Harbor from a recommendation. I guess I have been spoiled the last 10 years with an honest, realistic, actually there to help the pets and owners veterinarian that wasn’t just looking for ways to increase the bill. I specifically said I was seeing this vet for a hematoma in my dogs ear. I’m familiar with this and I have had the dog 10 years, so I know him well too. The vet was kind and very nice but I felt she was looking for ways to increase the cost of our visit. The part I didn’t like the most was there was no transparency of what the cost was going to be and if I just went along with what she was saying without questioning I would have been surprised with a $400+ bill for no reason. This is not the vet for us and I wanted to warn future customers so they are aware.

"Wild Life" Doctors in the "House"
This awesome Doctor is very passionate about her all animals.
After I lost my "Wild Life" veterinarian to covid in 2020,
I had a very hard time locating a new doctor. I went to Brandon and Hillsborough County and was not happy with either of those doctors. I was told by my Regular Veterinarian Dr. Laurel Logan's @ ( Bradenton veterinary hospital located at 1324 17th Ave West Bradenton Florida 34205) to take my pet Raccoons to Safety Harbor that this Lady Doctor could help me and she knows, wildlife, she is one of the best in the business.. and I went.
I was very impressed with her handling my Raccoons and the care they received. I am happy to say they are fully vaccinated they've had their Rabies Shots and everything that they needed. This doctor is a very wonderful person very caring person and if you have any exotic pets or wildlife that needs attention please contact them.. there's not enough stars on this screen to give this doctor for her care and her love of animals but I will say that I would gave her 200% plus. Thank you very much for being there for us...

My Raccoons are Domesticates and I have Permits and Licenses for my animals.

NOTICE :It's very important that you know that you can only have a "Domesticate" Raccoon which you have purchased from a breeder you must have a "Permit" and this "Permit" must be renewed every year , do not think that you can just get a wild animal and take it into your home it doesn't work that way, you need to call
Florida Fish and Wildlife and they can refer you to a rehabilitator if that baby or that animal needs attention. If it needs immediate attention and is hurt or an infant without a mother please assist it back to health but make all the right contacts first. When it is healthy and ready to be released it must be RELEASED.
Please everybody if you don't have a "legal permit" for your animal (Raccoons) FWL comes out to your home, your animal will be destroyed make sure you do the right thing.
