Ryder is now 13 months old and a true joy to watch him mature. English Cockers are such magnificent dogs; a combination of high energy, intensity and determination combined with a driving desire to please. He has driven me to learn how to be a better trainer and the results just bring a smile to my face. Thanks to Jay and Buffy for everything they do to bring us these dogs and support us on the path of training them.

If what you want is a working cocker to pick up or have it shipped to you from a breeder with hopes of good genetics and no client support after the puppy is home then look elsewhere. Purchasing a Ryglen gun dog is being part of an extended family. They are their to assist guide and help you along your journey with your new field companion/new addition to your family. Puppy picking weekend is wonderful. It is really worth the experience and the feeling of togetherness felt by Jay and his wonderful family along with Buffy and hers. The kennel is outstanding, very clean and state of the art. This is our fifth cocker and I highly doubt you could find a better bred working Cocker anywhere in the world. Jay's select breeding program is from his current dogs that all are UK imports with field titles in the UK. Our puppy is just great we could not have asked for more. We like to refer to her as a weekend warrior. She is a machine in the filed /yard and a bundle of joy, full of sweetness and relaxation in our home. The puppies receive much love and caring from Buffy on a daily bases that makes them adapt smoothly once you bring them home at 8 weeks. Jay and Buffy are a great team .We are very pleased to own a Ryglen gun dog and plan to have another in the coming years. A.L. Bruno

More then disappointed ! We paid premium dollars and traveled quite a distance to get our dogs approximately 2 years ago. We thought we were paying for a quality dog. Our dog has neurological problems!
The majority of evenings it “ fly bites”
Very irritating!
Getting the dog in to see a neurologist is not only very difficult but super expensive. Ryglen has been zero help thru this problem and also difficult to get in touch with. Extremely disappointed!!

We have 4 Ryglen dogs. They are marvelous. Jay does a great job with answering training questions and providing training opportunities. I have enjoyed my dogs in the field very much!

The owner was knowledgeable, pleasant and knew his dogs. You could tell he loved what he was doing and it showed by the way the dogs were well trained and healthy. The facilities were clean and well kept.
He took us out to show how well the dogs worked. It was awesome.
It's definitely worth the trip.
