I am so thankful for Ruffgers. We started taking our girl there for their Reactive Rover class which has helped her a ton. They were very knowledgeable and encouraging. They also offer a “board and train” that we have utilized while out of town so they were able to continue working with her while she stayed. They have been so good with her and accommodating since she can’t participate in group play. It is a relief to have a place I feel comfortable sending her

I’m so glad that this facility was built in Sarasota! The staff is amazing with my 4 fur babies! My dogs love going to Ruffgers Sarasota. Training with Kim is amazing! She’s teaching agility to my mini Aussie and he’s doing great. She is also training my other dog basic commands. I’m really impressed with this facility and staff.

Ruffgers is by far the best daycare, boarding, and training facility that I've taken my sweet furbaby to. All of the staff members have been incredibly genuine and friendly.
What sold me from the very beginning is Ray. I moved into the area a few months back and was searching for a daycare facility. I called several places in the Sarasota area. While most facilities were quick to get me off the phone, Ray took the time to walk me through all that Ruffgers had to offer. His great positive energy and attentiveness gave me that confidence that my dog will be well cared for-- and they have exceeded my expectations! My dog, who is very attached to me, will often walk through the doors without a second look in my direction. He gets incredibly excited to see numerous different people that work at the facility, which leads me to believe that they have taken the time to build a great relationship with him. I also enjoy that the pups are not out in a giant open space all day with 20-50 other dogs, so they're not overstimulated.

My rambunctious cattle dog and I have been training with the wonderful staff of Ruffgers for almost 2 years now. The training they provide for both humans and canines is kind, encouraging, and supportive. It’s always positive from the top down. My dog LOVES the agility lessons we take in group classes, private lessons and even during his biweekly day care stays. We also take trick/rally/obedience classes, which are great! In the car he can’t help but whistle-whine with excitement when he knows we are getting close to all his friends and all the fun that Ruffgers provides. Thank you, Ruffgers!

Ruffgers University in Sarasota provided outstanding customer service, and their dog boarding services were amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with warmth and professionalism. We recently adopted a very shy rescue dog with separation anxiety and needed to find daycare for a day. We checked out Ruffgers and were very happy with the facility and the professional, friendly staff. We appreciated that Ruffgers was able to accommodate us on short notice and they quickly arranged an evaluation/meetup. We felt reassured and happy about leaving our girl for daycare. My pup LOVES this place and yours will too! I've tried other doggy daycare facilities in the area, and my dog would come home upset with me — but he gets so excited to go to Ruffgers and never wants to leave when I pick him up. You can tell that everyone there loves (and knows how to work with) dogs. I'm so grateful to have an option like this available for my Finnley.

Rey and the crew were amazing. They took my two dogs on last minute notice for a week and did a wonderful job of giving me updates and photos. Kind, compassionate staff. I would highly recommend!
