An absolute gem!!
The home is stunning with individual spacious rooms, infinity pool, and view of the ocean for starters. My experience with the admissions team of Lori and Berkeley was a great start as I did not, for one minute, feel pressured. The staff, comprised of Masters level and Doctorate clinicians provide the most comprehensive treatment this industry has to offer. The one on one attention you receive here is unbelievable. I had 90+ sessions in a 30 day stay. My Primary Therapist Dr Nisha, my case manager Ellie, Trauma Therapist Michael, IFS and Neurobiology with Dr Mark, Massage and relaxation with Sam, LMFT Gina and Heather, Breathwork/Reiki/Yoga with Cat, Personal Trainer Luke, Nursing with Shari and Paige, Spiritual Counseling with Gina and Beth, 5 star Chefs Jake, Cameron, Bryce and Amanda, Support staff Nam, Art with Noku, all provided the care I desperately needed at this most vulnerable moment in my life. And I need to mention that the CEO Patrick is amazing and he meets every client with a smile and some hope.
If you are needing help, look no further and come to Rise in Malibu. You will be overjoyed you did!!

This treatment center is truly exceptional—by far the best I’ve ever encountered. The level of care here is unmatched. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as an individual, with every need thoughtfully catered to. I cannot give enough praise to Rise in Malibu. My son was recently admitted for the 30 day alcoholism program. With great fear and hesitation he was soon talking with Allison in admissions. Her unbelievable patience, knowledge, unmatched kindness, and long phone calls, gave him the reassurance he needed to get on the plane.
Upon arrival to LAX there was another team member waiting for him at the baggage carousel. He was a recovered alcoholic and really understood the hesitation being experienced by my son. How wonderful to have that real life encouragement, even before walking in the front door.
Upon arrival he met all the wonderful staff that he appreciated were “non judgmental,” which was very important to him. Each staff member took time to really get to know him, so they could develop a personal treatment plan to meet his specific needs. He participated in group, individual and spiritual counseling. The painting activity uncovered a talent that he did not know he had. The group meals, activities, gym time and outings allowed positive and supportive friendships to develop.
I visited about two weeks in and met most of the staff. Every person was as wonderful as he had said they were. It was then I learned that all the staff members have recovered from their own addiction. That explains their kind, understanding and unrelenting devotion to helping others.
During my visit he showed me around and introduced me to the staff like they were all his family. He was proud of his progress and finally believing in recovery. I saw happiness in him for the first time in many years.
He continues to reach out to team members when there is a bump in the road. Having that ability has truly kept him on the right path. He is now in sober living with sobriety a realistic outcome, for the first time in 20 years. I am forever grateful to Rise in Malibu!

My experience at Mayberry Ranch was truly remarkable. From the moment I arrived, Ron and the entire staff made me feel incredibly welcome and at ease. I’ve never encountered such warmth, with strangers offering hugs upon arrival. Michelle, the case manager, was particularly outstanding—dedicating her personal time to help me plan my next steps after leaving Mayberry. I am writing this review to share my experience with Rise. I spent time helping a close family member vet several rehab facilities. Rise in Malibu stood out to me for how they offer individualized treatment plans for each client versus all clients being forced into receiving the same exact treatment that everyone else receives. They receive “1 on 1” sessions with Doctoral level mental health professionals multiple times per week.
They also receive private sessions with a psychiatrist, and group treatment/programming that are facilitated by a
wide range of professionals with extensive amounts of experience and expertise.
The facilities at Rise in Malibu were state-of-the-art.
Private en-suite Rooms.
They offered Massage Therapy, Reiki, a full gym, swimming, mindfulness/meditation and more.
The food is also top notch—The meals are made by a private chef.
I will end this review by saying that I feel that it’s unlikely to find
another treatment/rehab facility that offers all of these things under one umbrella.
Rise is Definitely The "Real Deal"

GREETINGS to those perusing my review 🙂 THIS IS VERY THOUROUGH.

- Background -- This was my 6th time attending an inpatient facility --
Honestly, it was an unexpecting gift from God that my journey even began in the direction of Rise. I began my research online and expecting to "shop" a few treatment centers knowing I needed to admit myself again. Rise was the first facility I contacted. First person I spoke with was a gentleman by the name of Ron via telephone... We began conversing (mind you, I have been in sales all my life so I'd like to say I've been around the block) and began having the a typical intro call dialogue about myself etc... Within minutes, Ron and I weren't talking about Rise, we were bonding and talking about ME. I could sense the care and empathy in his words and voice as we were speaking and we haven't even talked about the facility. I said "will you hold on so I can 3-way my wife?" and he said "absolutely"
Ron, my wife, and I talked for about 30 minutes regarding my family... I had idea where this place even was. Ron then told me a bit about the place and coordinated logistics, insurance, flights, etc. with Allison.
Fast-forward - Got logistics handled with a breeze.
Here's what blew my mind... Ron, the FIRST person I spoke with, was the OWNER of Rise.
I flew in from Houston, TX to LAX and was transported by a Rise team member to the facility. I was greeted with grace (of course I drank on the plane, and I knew the detox that was waiting for me the coming days) and did my intake. RON shows up, as he tries to for every new client when they arrive and before the discharge, to greet me and show me around the property. (I soon learned that Ron shows up every morning to muck the horses stalls instead of paying someone else to do it...)

As mentioned, I've been through alcohol detox before so I knew what was coming. The nurses and techs went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible almost to the point to where I was too pampered 😉
The entire staff from Drs, therapists, techs, house cleaners, chefs, horses, dogs, etc. were what made my 30 day home incredible. Especially being 1,500 miles away from my wife and 3 kids.

In MY experience... the programming, scheduling, therapy, Dr. specialized sessions and tech lead groups exceeded my expectations and I feel is going to save my life. Rise had me dig deeper into myself than I ever thought possible and discovered so many things I've pushed down for so long. I have hope and confidence today that I deserve a sober life.

I've been gone 3 days and I'm still hearing from and communicating with the staff and my new found family.
