Our pup unexpectedly passed away while we were visiting our beach house. When we arrived at the animal hospital, there was nothing they could do for her, but the vets and staff were so kind and supportive for us. They made arrangements for our pup, and even sent us paw prints and nose ‘boops’ and a sympathy card. All without making a cent from us. If we ever need vet care at the beach, we will use them without hesitation.

From the moment I called for an emergency visit I was overly pleased and appreciative of RBAH. Cindy (maybe Sydney) was very helpful and accommodating with getting me a speedy appointment, Sam the tech that took care of Moose (my pup) was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and obviously moose loved him because he peed on him (Moose is an excited happy pee pup), didn’t meet the Vet but she called and was thorough, answered all my questions and even made some extra recommendations to contribute to my pups overall health. I thought the cost was very reasonable and Moose has already bounced back and is doing great! Thank you guys!!?

Just got home from our appt with Dr. Hirsch! She’s extremely amazing & caring!! made us feel so comfortable with our dachshund mix. Brittney was also lovely!! she was wonderful & informative too! We moved across country and wanted a reliable & trusted primary vet so definitely staying with them. They were able to diagnose our dog’s issues with eye sight, etc.. Overall Dr.Hirsch and Brittney were very friendly and made us feel taken care of with our dog’s health. I’m happy we chose the right place to bring in our fur-pet.

Thank you Dr. Hirsch! truly great, you can tell they really care about animals and the well being of pets, and they’re not just a business to hassle people for money at the end. Highly recommend.

Visiting the area with my medical alert service dog. She started acting funny. I called Rehoboth Beach Animal hospital and was told they are booked a month out. I called this traveling doctor who was very old but prescribed an antibiotic and she seemed to be on the mend after a week on the antibiotic. But then she just kept sleeping. I called Rehoboth Beach Animal hospital again and told them about the traveling doctor and his prescribed antibiotic, etc. I called my veterinarian in Florida to have her vaccinations sent over as per their website. When I spoke with Tammy she said they were scheduling out into March. I asked her if they had any emergency appointments anytime this week. Tammy put me on hold, came back and said: “they” said I should call the doctor that prescribed the antibiotic. Geezz I told her he was 90 and wasn’t answering my calls. She said call an urgent care hospital. Really? The nearest urgent care hospital is an hour and half away. They really couldn’t squeeze us in this whole week? Tammy also told me they require a $40 deposit upon making an appointment. My guess is, it’s about money not the health and wellbeing of the animal.

There's been a handful of after hour times when I've needed a professional opinion and Dr. Prettyman has often told me "if she were my dog, I'd do _____" which is incredibly helpful

The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming of suggestions from the pet parents. Very compassionate when the time came for my cat to cross over the rainbow bridge.

Very caring vets and staff, they are so patient with my dogs. My one dog has severe anxiety and is so fearful, but they know exactly how to calm him and treat him well. Great place!
