My first experience visiting Coral Springs was very good. When I walked in I could see that the place was very clean and shiny. My brother is a patient there for physical therapy he says the attendance are very good and meet all of his needs. He likes the food and gives thanks to the kitchen. I find that the people that work there are very friendly and very helpful. Coral Springs is located in a nice quiet area. He likes taking physical therapy,he also likes the therapist working with him they know what to do to make him better, to make him stronger so he can come home. He's doing very well with physical therapy!?

I wanted to share my excellent experience i had at Coral Springs!! I went to visit my brother in law Ron. I was greeted with smiles and good morning even though they were busy at the front desk! The lobby is beautiful! There is even a piano there! The floors are clean and shiny. Each staff member i came in contact with all said hello and smiled. I could hear the staff interacting in the hallways and with happy voices!! Ron says the food is amazing and he is getting the best care and rehab. The rooms are bright and clean! I will highly recommend this facility to all my friends and family when needed!! Thank you to the staff for caring!!

This place is so terrible. The food is hard as a rock. Grill cheese, if you wanted to cut it won’t cut. My mom asked for a TV and she was here for 10 days and she still hasn’t received it. She asked for a blanket, she hasn’t received it. My mom is staring at walls with no tv. It’s pretty messed up. If anyone complains about this place. Or if you have an elder parent or grandparent in this facility. Please pay attention to what they are saying. Don’t ignore there concerns.

My family member spent several weeks at Coral Springs and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care they received. The staff exemplifies professionalism and genuine compassion, with a clear focus on patient well-being. I was warmly welcomed to visit as often as I liked and had numerous opportunities to engage with the medical, physical therapy, and social work teams to discuss my loved one's care. The nursing staff and unit aides were consistently kind and attentive, making sure my family member felt comfortable and supported. Even the housekeeping staff went out of their way to assist us on several occasions, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you so much to everyone at Coral Springs for providing such exceptional care and support during a difficult time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Coral Springs to anyone seeking compassionate and comprehensive care in a nursing and physical therapy setting.

We has a wonderful experience using this rehab! Nurses were very attentive, things were kept orderly, and we alway knew she'd have access to fresh clean bed changes! Any issues were handled right away, and we never worried. The food fed to her was awesome, and her plans were followed to the letter. We appreciate coral springs tremendously!

My four week stay had both pros and cons. I was there for therapy after leaving the hospital and I arrived late due to getting the last transport from the hospital.
I was placed in a room with a horrible patient who cussed and spoke racist remarks and nothing was done about it. He also would talk all night long rambling and cursing while I was trying to sleep. I was in the room when the patient was in his own wheelchair as I watched him rolling over to my bed only to start grabbing things out of my nightstand mainly snacks. I immediately told him to get back to his own bed and to never come over here again I reported it but nothing was ever done . Unlike some of the other patients there I was pretty well self-sufficient and could get ready and dressed myself without assistance. But the first two weeks of my stay my room had no hot water as well as several apparently in the same area. They said they had to replace a water heater but it should have been against the law not to have hot water so I don't know how they got around that. The other cons were the food. They would often run out even though they gave you a menu for breakfast lunch and dinner in the morning so you knew what you were getting. Most of the time it was cold or absolutely unappetizing so it is no wonder that I lost 10 lb while I was there and I am not a big person. Even if you ordered on their special menu you had to still get somebody to chase it down because nobody prepared it.
Also in the morning they gave you a fresh washcloth to clean up each morning.Often you never got one because they were either not clean or they couldn't find any. Since I was the only one who used the bathroom sometimes it never got replenished with soap unless you were able to catch an aide to track some down.
Communication there was horrible. They had a shuttle to take you to any doctor's appointments but never notified you that you had them until that morning and then they were rushing you to get ready so you could get your appointment again poor communication not sure who's at fault but it happened twice.
The one time I didn't even get to get my medications that were always around breakfast time before I had to rush to the appointment one medication that was critical for my low blood pressure.
It seems like they have a lot of staffing issues. I only needed to call for a nurse once during my stay but being short staffed meant it could take quite a long time before they took care of it. Their housekeeping crew often did not visit my room where my roommate constantly had food all over the floor.
PROS
The facility was clean and beds were changed on an as needed basis.
Most all of the nurses were friendly and attentive as well as the visiting doctors who had your medical records and were knowledgeable. They worked in conjunction with the hospital but only came into the rehab a couple days a week.
Physical therapy had a great staff and were critical in my recovery. They were very easy working around your needs when you were They were very thorough in preparing you for your return home.
Being the first time in a rehab I didn't know what to expect. Most of the cons outweigh the pros.

I cannot speak highly enough about the care my sister received at Coral Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. The staff, from nursing, to aides, to therapists, to the cleaning staff, all were kind, conscientious, and professional.

We had a care planning meeting in which every department involved in her care listened to our concerns, offered suggestions and guided us through the rehabilitation process.

The social services director, K. Gosnell was amazing. She assisted us while navigating everything from insurance to medical issues and was an amazing resource for the family.

I would also like to commend, Carmen H., a CNA who went over and above board in my sister's care. She was an incredible caregiver, showing kindness and patience while attending to her every need. I can only hope that if I am ever in the same circumstance, I would have someone like her at my side.

Thank you to everyone for a job well done. I would highly recommend Coral Springs as a place for yourself or a loved one to complete rehabilitation.
