This is a review of the resale shop, not the adoption aspect of this business. They have some beautiful pieces and most are fairly priced. I bought a lovely old brass and porcelain plant atomizer that was originally sold at Marshall Field's. I have to say that this is the nicest bathroom I have ever encountered at any resale store, or any type of business. I even enjoyed hearing all the pooches barking.

The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is that the volunteer who rang me up wasn't well trained. It took her 10 minutes to figure out how to ring up one item - she was really flustered, so maybe she was new. I highly recommend shopping at this store to support their mission!

We adopted our new family member today and we can’t thank Renee, Amanda, Tom and the staff for ALL their help and all they did for us. They were very supportive and understanding to us and made sure our new family member would be a perfect fit. They even told us we could always reach out to them if needed. The entire adoption process was quick and simple. They called us right away to talk to us and get the adoption moving quickly. Their store and services are second to none! I couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better place to adopt from. Barret and Suzanne were great to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend them and will return next time we need another puppy. They provided us with their cell phone numbers so we can call them at any time if something comes

They provided us with a bag of Blue Buffalo dog food, a few toys, and a harness and leash. He was up to date on all his shots and and neutering is included. The adoption fees were very affordable.

I love Reach Rescues. All of their staff are volunteer and don't get any compensation so they all truly love pets and want to be there. All the money they bring in goes towards their overhead and all expenses to care for everything needed and for sick pets and the pets they bring in.

I've always been hesitant on adopting. My last two dogs came from breeders. After visiting Reach, I'll always adopt from now on.

They have a huge resale store attached and all of those funds go towards the animal care as well. I got a lot of great deals there - not just on dog supplies but on a bunch of other typical resale stuff too.

This is one organization I will always donate to, support, and recommend. This is probably the nicest review I've ever written.

I had a bad experience with the Reach Rescue. Today, after almost a whole week of waiting, Jan a lady that works there called me and told me that I can not adopt a dog because I don't have my past dog vet information (the vet closed for good) and she can't google them anymore to find out about my dogs (who passed away) vet records. Why does it matter about the vet records when I no longer have the dogs? I told her that Im looking to adopt a new dog for my family and we will have a new vet close by and they can even do a vert check or wellness of the dog check if they would like and she still told me "no". Now, being interested, I asked her "So what if I put down on the application that we never had dogs?" Jan responded "well, we would just go off of the references that were put down on the application" How ridiculous!. How unfair to those animals that need a good home and they're not given a chance right away because of a terrible decision like Jan has made. My family has a home. Fenced in huge yard. I'm a stay at home wife/mom and still not enough because Jan wasn't satisfied that she couldn't reach an old vet that's no longer in business and hasn't been for few years for dogs that are no longer here as well. I simply can not believe it. Only if I would have LIED on my application and put down NO PREVIOUS OR CURRENT PETS. But because we are honest people this is how we get treated. Reach Rescue, do better for the dogs you want to have rescued!!!!!. We are a great family.

After the lengthy application process I did a meet and greet with a cute dog but didn't think he would work out for my household. I inquired about others, but Jan ghosted me. Miffed maybe but I thought I was being responsible by trying to get a good fit.Ultimately, went to Orphans of the Storm. They have a lot less human ego and sweet dogs in dire need of a home. We have a nice doggie now.

Reach Rescue in one word is... Awesome. We are first time dog owners and the process could not have been any easier. They get you out the door with enough supplies until you can get your own. They also go over all shots given and future needs and a already set up neutering appointment. Can't say enough good things about Jan. She was a delight and was beyond helpful with all our questions. Adopt from here folks, you won't be disappointed. P. S. We love our Finn (beefsteak)
