Respectful. Wise. Helpful. Concerned.
Anthony Rainey of RBK Line Dog Boarding and Training is giving us hope that we can keep our dogs together in our home. We have a Wheaten Terrier who is almost 9 years old and a Yorkie who is almost 7. They have lived in our home for almost 7 years, getting along beautifully. In these past couple of months, we have witnessed Tillie turn on Sophie with what seemed to be aggravation at first; but it turned into something meaner within weeks. Tillie has always been a very mild mannered dog, she has always gotten on very well with Sophie, and these new outbursts were bookend-ed by things being perfectly normal between the two dogs. For those reasons, we were stumped; but then we became fearful for Sophie and worried about Tillie. In desperation I tried to find a canine behaviorist near me; and that is how I found Anthony. Though he's not actually near me, he has made a big difference in 11 days. Anthony listened quietly as I explained our situation, and then he asked a few questions. In our first 1-hour conversation, he identified the problem, explained how it likely developed, told me where to begin and what to do in order to remedy the problem, and assured me that my husband and I can help our dog change as we work together with consistency. Within 10 minutes on that first phone call, I felt confident that contacting Anthony was the right decision. It's obvious to me that he has a great understanding of how dogs think and respond. I was braced to be spoken to like I was an idiot who didn't deserve to have a dog or to have this behaviorist speak of my dog as though she were a wild animal; but Anthony was so respectful of both of us...all of us: me, my husband, and both our dogs. Anthony is so good at seeing the big picture as well as the important details; and he helped me see them, too. His recommendations for rehabilitating Tillie are working, and he has even followed up with me himself to check in on our progress. It's like he really wants us to succeed at this. My husband and I know this is going to take more than 2 week to cure, but we know it's possible because we've met Anthony.

Anthony is the absolute best. He has helped all three dogs in our house to get along, and keeps training simple. He makes it super convenient by coming to your home for an assessment, and for additional training. The improvements I have seen in my dog in the past three weeks have made our dynamic at home way easier. I will recommend him to everyone I know!

Anthony @ RBK Line is a 1st class dog trainer.. Over the past 3 weeks I have seen an incredible transformation of my dog from not being able to be with other dogs to a social playful pup with other K9’s. Additionally Anthony spent the time with us coaching better dog handling skills that command respect while reinforcing positive behavior.. We just signed up our 10year old female for the same training. We Thank you!!!!
