Dr. Fridlund and ALL of the staff here are absolutely amazing!! I am so happy i decided to start bringing my 4 animals (3 cats and 1 dog) here because the service and genuine care they give is incomparable to any other vet i have been too! They are super accommodating and flexible with scheduling and will do anything to make sure our needs are met!! I will continue being a loyal patient as long as i live here!! Dr. Ian Marks and the Ranch family were beyond welcoming. From opening the door while carrying my dog inside, swiftly taking me straight to a room and having the doctor meet me within a few minutes. Everyone from the front of house staff to the techs were seamless, educated, and caring.

I HIGHLY recommend this clinic for routine care and even more serious surgeries which my doggo underwent. Follow up care was awesome and even providing very clear at home instructions for after care.

Ranch Animal Hospital in Lakewood Ranch is nothing short of a lifesaver! From the moment we walked through their doors with our precious border collie, Molly, we felt the warmth and dedication of a truly caring team. Dr. Mark and Topher went above and beyond during Molly's first visit to assess a growth on her anal gland. Their genuine concern and passionate care immediately put our minds at ease.

When we returned months later for Molly's surgery, my heart was full of confidence knowing she was in such capable hands. Lauryn Smith took over, and I can’t express enough how grateful we are for her professionalism and heartfelt care. She treated Molly like her own fur baby, and it made all the difference.

Absolutely Horrific Experience, don't be fooled by the word "Hospital". Have been a customer since 2006, this place has gone downhill tremendously and would not recommend to treat your family pet.
Went there on a Friday at 4pm to help triage our dog since he was not acting "normal". They ordered an EKG however, they are not qualified (including the vet) to read it? 4:55pm, the Vet told us they were still waiting for the results and that they were closing at 5pm, nothing they could do. They were kind enough to recommend a 24/7 Emergency after I paid over $650 and no diagnosis.
Our dog was suffering from internal bleeding and had to put him down. Mind you, this was discovered within minutes of arriving the emergency vet.
Ranch Animal Hospital did not want to deal with this outcome at 4:55pm on a Friday, as I was reminded 4 times they were closing at 5pm!
Please do not take you pet there!!!
I would gladly take time off of work to meet with whomever is in charge to discuss further.

Ranch Animal Hospital has been amazing when it comes to the care of our dogs and cat. We’ve been able to get our pets scheduled very quickly with urgent matters, and have appreciated the time the Drs and staff have taken with us. They are great about offering options and we never feel like we are being upsold. We’ve also had our dogs groomed by Melissa and she has done a great job with our Aussie who doesn’t enjoy being groomed. I highly recommend the compassionate team at Ranch!

My Catahoula dog Sadie is extremely difficult to exam or give shots to. Even after being sedated she still does not want to be touched. She doesn’t do well with strangers. The Doctor and staff at Ranch Animal hospital handle her extremely well. They are very patient and kind and somehow managed to get her shots and exam completed. I would most certainly recommend them and give them a 5 star rating.

Maybe I just got lucky with my vet in Colorado, but this vet clearly didn’t realize his voice carries. Very unprofessional. The tech was kind and personable which made the visit bearable at best. I came simply to get established and will be seeking out a different vet who isn’t “so busy.”
