We had such a pleasant experience adopting our two cats last weekend. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful; even when the center became extremely busy and they were backed-up at the desk. The visiting rooms were very clean and full of toys/trees for the cats to play with and many were roaming around freely. They provided us with take-home food, toys, and thorough documentation to take to our vet. Jelly Bean (previously Nugget) and Goose (previously Croissant) adjusted almost immediately and are such a joy in our lives. Thank you, QCAWC staff!!

It was very difficult to ask questions about adopting a cat and all I wanted to do was rescue a cat and I couldn't get any answers or the cat was either spoken for or but I had the money and everything that day and was ready to do it. Anyway if somebody could let me know when there is a kitty or a cat I can rescue for my emotional support animal. I would love to know so please have a wonderful day.

Wonderful shelter. We have had two cats neutered here, and recently adopted a dog. They have spay/neuter services, basic health services and vaccines, plus animals for foster or adoption.

They are always very kind, and seem to really care for the animals. We have been to other places in the Quad City area, and this is by far the cleanest and the animals look happy and well taken care of.

We adopted a pair of bonded cats from here and the facility was wonderful. The cats in the room we went to did not seem stressed at all and the staff was informative and patient. The cats we adopted are pictures here. They were Jack and Enchie before and now are Echo and Kaya

My boyfriend and I went and got us a kitty yesterday. We had went in on Monday and checked out all the different cats available and came back to pick this guy up on Wednesday. They gave us his medical record from the time he was there, as well as free food and treats and toys for him. This shelter is well organized, and very spacious. They have an appropriate amount of cats in each room. Our little (big) guy is adjusting well to our home. He's a little confused and scared but he's been drinking and eating and knows where his litter box is. I think he's gonna love his new home after he adjusts to not being in a shelter anymore.

(Edit: 4 months later)
Lucius our wonderful kitty is now fully adjusted to our home. He's such a big baby and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect kitty for my little family.
