I took my dog in madded at 9:58an Saturday morning , it wasn’t my first time. I was told that she was going to be cut low. I got a call Around 2:35 PM to let me know that my dog was experiencing being scared and was put last to get her haircut and she will be ready Between 3 PM and 3:30 PM. When I hot got there at 3:30pm, The young lady had her hair in her hand saying that this is what they had to cut off. When they brought my dog out, this is how she looked , a mess. I didn’t realize until I got home she had scratches all on her open wounds, hair, uneven, and batches, very afraid, neglected, toenails bleeding.. I called the Hyde Park Location to see who the owner was because it was different people that I never seen there before on 79th St. So she gave me the number where I can Send my dog pictures and say that someone will call me back, and they never did. Right now it is Tuesday 12:10 AM. I am up trying to soothe my dog because she is traumatized. When I made the appointment, the total amount was $110 for a full Dasher as they call it. So I made the appointment and put a $50 deposit down. Once I picked her up, I was charged a extra $35., Which is the final balance was $145.00. Someone has later on today, which is Tuesday to get in touch with me. I don’t know about the other locations, but I would never ever ever go back to this shop again.

I was looking for a new groomer for my fur son. I called the Haberdashery around noon inquiring about a same day grooming appointment. Ms. Joyce was so polite, friendly, and professional. She said, "Can you get here at 1?". I'm so glad we did. MJ was so happy, smelled so good, and was so shiny when we picked him up. Emilio did a fantastic job taking care of MJ. He also recommended products to help keep him moisturized. Thank you guys for such fantastic service. See you soon!

Do not bring your fur babies to this butcher! Because of their negligence, my fur nephew, my friend’s beloved dog who was in perfect health has just been told he’ll be losing his eye! Their groomer admitted to injuring his eye while grooming him, but the owner said they aren't going to pay or help and are trying to avoid responsibility for their actions because they SAY the dog was brought there at the owner’s risk! Despicable and disgusting response to causing such a traumatic injury to their customer’s dog! Do NOT take the RISK of bringing your precious pet to this heinous, callous and careless place! As an UPDATE: Please see their unprofessional response to this review that is riddled with blatant LIES (screenshots to prove) and where they once again pass the blame TO THE DOG. True professionals in the grooming business should know how to handle the dogs that they agree to groom. Although they lied about Cody. He’d been with the same groomer for 13 years, he’d gone to Habberdashery because his previous groomer retired. Cody is an absolute sweetheart of dog that my daughters and I have pup sat for tons of times. As DOG GROOMING professionals, it’s their job to know how to handle DOGS duh right? Kind of a non-negotiable for a dog grooming company, wouldn’t you think? They injured the dog. If they could not “so-called” handle him, they should have politely ended the service and informed their customer that you cannot accommodate their pet. Not injure the dog, insult the owner/their customer as they so disgustingly did as you see in their reply, and cause him to lose an eye and then basically say too bad so sad. Additionally, medical expenses help was NEVER offered to and declined by their customer, it was actually requested by her via email and ignored by the owners. Disgusting. The company’s response proved my point. Thanks for showing other potential customers how you’d handle them and have zero accountability.

I'm so happy I switched to Puppy Haberdashery. My dog gets so happy when we drive up. I know Harley is being treated well because he is excited upon his arrival. Not to mention, they have great customer service and their grooming skills are the best.

This is the best grooming experience me and my fur baby have ever had. The staff at the front were so kind and professional. In the past, taking my baby to get groomed would be a stressful all-day event for the both of us. At Puppy Haberdashery my pup was done with his groom in a hour and he looks so handsome! He was excited and happy when I picked him up, not stressed and anxious as he’s used to being after a haircut. I felt so happy seeing the staff loving on him when I picked him up 🥰. I know he’s in safe hands when he’s there, I will be returning!

I love them !! I’m so satisfied after every appointment I’m so glad I brought my dog here. Quickest groom ever my baby is always done in under two hours. Highly recommended. Great business friendly employees all around good vibes❤️
