I can’t speak highly enough about the team at Puparazzi! I felt so at ease leaving my pup with them and I know she was well cared for and had a great time. I will definitely be going to them for all my future boarding and day care needs! They also have great grooming services that left our pup soft and smelling great 🙂

My dog Soleil has been attending daycare at Puparazzi since June 2021 when she was 8 months old. I still remember being glued to the webcams at my office, and she's loved attending since. Attached are pictures from the beginning through now, some with friends whose names she'll even react to at home ("Want to go see Bella?" and "Clementine is waiting!" have both gotten her into the car immediately). Sometimes she went several times in one week, she used to always go for the free Sundays when those were offered or the months where there were $25 Tuesday specials too. A forecast of rain always called for indoor play too. I tested out an overnight stay while I was home and since then, she's boarded several times over the last two years. They're always extremely communicative of how she's doing, what friends she's made and any surprising behavior or training to work on. They've helped with watching out for her jumping to greet and pulling on walks. Her first month of daycare, she'd never lie down no matter how long she was in because she was so stimulated and ready to play. I'd even ask if they could give her breaks away from the other dogs so she didn't overdo it, and they did. I was thrilled when they sent me an update that she's taking breaks on her own and starting to nap. Now, she's much better at pacing herself in playtime. I've always been informed of any sign of feeling sick, and the one time she slipped on a play structure and they weren't sure if she was hurt I immediately got a phone call (They pulled her from play to wait for me so I could take her home out of precaution; she was perfectly fine). The team has truly been her second family and this daycare has been her second home. Her longest stay was when I was out of the country for a couple weeks, and the occasional groom (especially after their hikes--she's cream colored, but she loves mud). Sadly, we're moving out of state so she'll no longer be attending but we're grateful for these past two years and I've always been vocal about where she goes to daycare, encouraging others to check it out here.

My dog baby is a fan but the last time I picked him up, he was limping and one of his paws was red and irritated. I was able to resolve the issue when we got home with some medicated shampoo, but it would be nice to know there was an issue. Other than that, the staff is usually personable.

My dog Benji stayed here a week for boarding in the slumber party package. I appreciate the friendly staff, daily report cards with images attached, and the live cameras, but please note these live camera feeds are only during business hours and it’s only of the common areas, not the area they take your dog back to when they feed them individually.

I have concerns on the accuracy and communication of the notes they take as staff. I received a call in the afternoon on Benji’s third day that there was some blood found in his vomit and they asked me if that was normal or if he has done that before. I’m a bit surprised for them to ask me if that is “normal” since blood in any dog’s vomit is not normal, but I do appreciate them calling to give me a heads up on the health concern. They asked me what I’d like to do and if I’d authorize them to take him to the VCA across the street if any of his symptoms get worse, but warned me that the bill would be pretty hefty. I asked if I could have some time to check if a friend or family member may be able to pick him up to take him to our vet’s urgent care appointment if needed. They said sure and that they’d continue to monitor him for any other concerning symptoms. I called them once more later in the day before they closed and then twice the next day, and each time I called it was a different staff member. One of them mentioned they just arrived for their shift and hadn’t had a chance to catch up on notes, but that he’d keep an eye on Benji. By the third call I could sense they were a bit annoyed by me checking in (which it would have been super helpful if they could have left notes on his health progress in the next report cards or called me back later to give me an update, instead of leaving me to worry and timing my check-ins while I was out of the country).

I noticed his report card did show images of Benji’s vomit the day prior to their call, but they left no notes on that incident. They only took note of his vomit the next day when they noted he threw up twice with some blood in it. When I asked them about the photos of the vomit from the previous day, the person on the phone claimed Benji only threw up for one day hence why she’s calling me now (which clearly means someone didn’t pay attention to the photos they attached to his report card on the previous day and make note of it). I have to take their word for it that he didn’t show any other concerning symptoms since then, but I also checked in on the live camera once in a while to monitor his energy levels (also noticed his harness still on the whole time, which smelled like urine when I picked him up).

I picked him up on his last day on Sunday but they didn’t give me a heads up they were behind schedule (I called in the morning to see if he’d be ready early and they told me his bath is scheduled for 11am he’d be ready by noon like my original request…so I waited for a call that he’s ready, but never got one so I called again later close to 2 hours after his original pick up time and they were like “Oh yes Benji JUST finished his bath and is ready!). At pick up when I asked how he seemed to be doing now after his vomit a few days ago, the staff member I spoke with seemed a bit unsure what I was referring to, but tried to assure me if they haven’t contacted me or noted it in his file since the call that he’s fine and his demeanor has seemed normal.

Benji is now experiencing a lot of coughing and hacking up some mucus, which I assume he picked something up at Puparazzi since he’s only been back < 2 days. Might just be kennel cough, but the vet asked me to bring him in tomorrow in case to rule out anything else considering his vomiting incident from last week. He also has a collapsed trachea (which is noted in his file/profile), hence my concern whenever a potential health scare pops up for him, so my trust in the staff had waned over the week—it was frustrating to feel like I had to be the one to chase after them a little for updates when I was out of town and in a different time zone.

You won’t find a better place to board your dog. They are very hands on & provide the best info in the report cards.

The girls at the front are also fabulous! They really care about your dogs so after trying all the Westside boarding/doggie daycare spots, I can say that this is the best one with the best employees & best facilities.

My dog Georgie is a bit needy but as shown below, they do really treat your dogs like their own. She is holding Georgie, which warmed my heart to see.

I recently joined Puparazzi and so happy I did! They are extremely welcoming and knowledgable. Checking out the webcam's is fun to check on your pup. I can tell my dog loves it there as she gets so excited when we pull up. The report cards are so cute to see how your pup did while they were there. Highly recommend.
