I recommend anyone that has not taken care of fish before to go to these people.. they will fill you with knowledge and any question you need answered about your fish.. I never have and I am now raising North and south American cichlids!

They have cool fish, cool aquariums, and cool supplies for fish and aquariums. The staff seems to have an endless supply of sweet bowling shirts.

I got a bunch of cheap goldfish and a breeding pair of crawdads for my aquaponic garden. I hope they breed prolifically and generate much poop for my plants to eat!!

Seriously, great spot for advice and supplies related to aquaria. I recommend!

Absolutely wonderful place! We come here to get all things aquatic: fish, tanks, filters, food, lights... They have it all. Monte (in the fish cave) is super knowledgeable and cares about his customers. They ask questions to help you find the right fit for you. In addition to the best fish selection we've found in central Illinois (and honestly, anywhere in Illinois to date), they also have tons of adorable things for furry friends and reptiles too. They have bakery items, unique toys and treats, and your standard and specialty foods as well. I can't recommend it enough.

Monty was so helpful in the set up of my new aquarium. From a tremendous selection of plants to helpful advice on fish to choose, I followed his recommendations and now have a healthy, beautiful aquarium. We travel over 50 miles to visit this shop and will continue to do so.

Surprisingly nice fish selection! Nice fun fish cave to see the fish in. Mai ly a fish store with dog and cat supplies and some reptile supplies. Fir reptile food they do offer Dubua and Horn Worms but no crickets. If they carried banded tickets it would help pull in reptile owners.

Worst pet experience either. We paid for a rope fish they new we where picking it up later. If in a bag on a cart and an employee resold it. When to pick it up and it was gone we wanted for months to get one and waited a month for this one to get healthy. The lack of communication is mind blowing..then they returned the money on a totally different card which was my fiance. And said next one is half off hummmm how about free. Refund or not that's horrible horrible business. Thank God they only sell fish. I adopted my cat from a privately owned pet place I couldn't Imagine going in and they resold him and it was my father's day gift to him and he has terminal brain cancer. I'm going bad to get my free fish because in my eyes they absolutely screwed up. That's awful and heart breaking.
