Two of my good friends recommended Penny and regularly take their dogs to her. I took my 10 year old terrier for her first professional grooming, and was thrilled with how Paisley looked. Penny did an outstanding job, and I wish I'd have treated Paisley sooner! Excellent job, so happy and I'm sure Pais feels a lot more comfortable with all that terrier fur gone!

It has taken me way too long long to write this review. We can't say enough nice things about Penny. She took such wonderful care of our fur baby Bella. This was the only groomer Bella wasn't afraid to walk through the front door to get her haircuts. The last few months of Bella's life, Penny was so accommodating with her health issues. We would HIGHLY recommend Penny. We drove past many other groomers on our drive to Chino and we will do it again with our next fur baby!!

This is the 4th time we’ve taken our sweet lab here but I’m so disappointed right now. I ordered the works-shampoo, cut and groom and claws clipped. When I picked her up she had a mouthful of blood so I asked Penny for a paper towel to blot the blood and see what’s going on. She has a very bad chipped tooth which is also loose and there was lots of recent, free-flowing blood. The owner Penny said when she put Ursa in the cage (for less than 20 minutes) she got excited and put her paws on the cage and then said “some dogs bite the cage when they get too anxious”. What If you knew our dog you’d know that this dog would never bite the cage. She’s the mildest, sweetest, most mellow dog you could ever meet. The only way I could ever imagine Ursa “biting the cage” is if she was mistreated BADLY. And even then I just can’t see it. I don’t know what happened bc I wasn’t there. Penny claimed there was no blood in the cage and no tooth pieces. Well somewhere in that salon there is Ursa’s blood and tooth/teeth! Ursa currently won’t let me look in her mouth again, probably bc it hurts like crazy! I wish I could afford to take her to CVAH to have it checked out. I’m just concerned she might end up with an infection. I’m in tears right now. And for Penny to not look REAL GOOD for blood and tooth while I was still there is not acceptable! She was more concerned about making her physical therapy appointment on time. She knows this was caused by something but doesn’t want to be honest with me about why and how it happened. I wish I could find an honest, dog-loving dog groomer in our area, and I pray she heals very fast and is able to even eat! We’ll see tonight. Not acceptable treatment, to man/woman nor beast. One last comment-I took Ursa straight home of course and she ran straight to her water dish and drank NON-STOP for at least 3-4 minutes, hardly stopping for a breath! Ursa was at groomers about 4 hours, includes the 20 minutes it took from time Penny called me to time I arrived 20 minutes later. Draw your own conclusions. Again I say-unacceptable. So sad and disappointed.

I scheduled an appointment for my furr baby and the lady that I spoke with seemed very put out that I'd want to get my dog groomed. Quoted me one price then charged me more! And the payment is a card swipe with automatically charges a tip. Was very judgmental about how my dog was. "Oh it took forever to get her clean" I told her she gets a bath every Sunday "Oh that's why she was so matted" My dog was not matted, she's a Maltese and has curly fur. We won't be returning - unless of course I need another dose of "don't bother me". Can't say I'd recommend her to anyone.
