This school has been the most positive and incredible experience in education that I have ever had. I appreciate that they cultivate a very positive and caring environment. The instructors have all been wonderful and very supportive. If you are even possibly considering a career in massage you definitely want to consider PTSM!! I can't recommend this school highly enough.

As a graduate of the 2013 day program I cannot recommend this school and its program (and incredible CE classes too!) highly enough. I specifically chose PTSM for their unique curriculum which covers so much more than massage, in addition to their gifted and knowledgeable instructors who will ensure that you leave with the skills and perspectives you need to succeed and truly thrive. I continue to practice today as massage (and prospective student, you!) is needed more than ever and I credit my education for helping me to navigate the pandemic. This school and its program transformed my life and in turn has allowed me the privilege of helping others transform themselves. If you are looking for a school that offers exceptional support, education and community to bring out your inner healer, this is the school for you! As the great and wise Lizzz has always said....you don't HAVE to do this......you GET to!

Loved this school and the teachers. The teachers are passionate. They cover a broad range of classes to prepare you for your career. The teachers are very helpful every step of the way even after finishing school still offer to help or give advice, they really want you to have a successful practice.

Best life choice ever. Believe the reviews, the staff here provide world class instruction. I felt very prepared when I graduated 12/2015. It was a wonderful experience in a supportive setting. Supportive is an understatement. The staff there are there because its who they are. Those are the people to learn from. Its nearly 2 years now since my Graduation, the School has been just as delightful in its support of its Graduates as its students....and the Masssage Profession.

I recently graduated (May 2014) from PTSM and loved it! The teachers were wonderful, the curriculum fantastic, and the whole overall organization and set up was well put together. They overlap the classes in a way that helps you see how its all connected. You get hands on experience while learning about the body and all its systems. I highly recommend this school to anyone that is serious about massage.

Being a student at Port Townsend School of Massage was simultaneously one of the most nurturing yet challenging experiences of my adult life. I had a great experience at Port Townsend School of Massage. The class size was small and we had a very focused group, the tuition was quite affordable and the instructors were knowledgeable and eager to help us learn. Being a VA approved school helped me a bunch, and the level of knowledge I gained through their weekend program was top notch.

I am still quite amazed that I usually end up teaching some of the other medical professionals I know a few things about Anatomy, Kinesiology, Ethics or some other bit that I learned through the school. Whether it was Ethics, Anatomy and Physiology, Kines, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Clinical treatments, or any other course, our class pushed our selves hard and we ended up learning a lot.

I currently run my own business because of this school, something that has been a dream of mine for quite a while. Its still small, but it is growing. The reputation of the school was even able to help me get space for my business. When my landlord learned about where I graduated from she was very confident that I would do well and was happy to rent me the space. A few other practitioners from other schools, just weren't able to make it there.

I will be going back to PTSM for some of my continuing education, and I've noticed that several other graduates do too, even if its been years since graduation. All in all if you are looking to start a career in massage, this school will set you up right. (If you do the work 😉 )

I attended this school in 2008. The education is fantastic and above par. I started my practice immediately after graduation and it has been thriving since. I have a fulfilling and successful career, and I credit much of that to my education at PTSM.

I read the review written by Whitney, and can't help but disagree on all accounts. I have no idea what he spent all that 20k on, his reference to LMP vs. LMT is something he obviously has a misunderstanding about, and his quotes of staff at the school are silly at best.

If you truly have a love for the massage profession, and want to be an upstanding Licensed Therapist, I cannot recommend a better facility.
