The best Veterinary services Ever!
I have dealt with many Vets all over N. California, and I was pleasantly surprised after moving to this area, that the only small animal Veterinarian around here was Excellent!!
From the receptionist, to the assistants,
and of course, the doctor(s)...they all are very helpful, and knowledgeable, and have a great report with the animals. They seem to genuinely care about ur pet. Which I have found is kinda rare these days. The doctor always takes the time to answer any questions I may have, and breaks it down into layman terms so u understand what he's talking about.
And if ur pet needs more than they can provide, he will promptly admit it and tell u ur options. They are a real pleasure to deal with...we should be so lucky!

Plumas Vet. Service is caring and compassionate.. My Cat Tammy girl that Dr. Schafer has taken care of in the past just passed over the rainbow ? bridge. 15 seconds after the injection she was asleep and pain free - 45 seconds later passed on with me scratching her head.

Martin and staff cared for our dogs, goats, horse, pot belly pig, and cats over 20 or so years. They were always there for us, through the good times and challenging times, step by step. We still keep in touch even after moving out of state. They care, and you can trust they will be there for you.

Great vet performance saved my dog from salmon poisoning.
Some office staff were snippy and short- some were great. I would weed out the snippy ones or give them a training on how to treat pet parents.

After my cat Paul Stanley was attacked by a coyote, many places wouldn't see him because he was an emergency case. Plumas Vet Services was super kind, compassionate, and helpful. They really put my mind at ease and took very good care and handled him in a loving way. Thank you to the entire staff, including Tiffany who dealt with my emotional phone call.
