It was my first time ever at an ER, something I was hoping never to be in with any of my dogs but you know you can never plan things like this, and Pieper memorial was fantastic. The hospital made my dog and I feel so welcome and taken care of the whole time we were there. 10/10, fantastic care. Hopefully we don't have to again, but if I had to go to an ER again I'd go here again. How kind everyone was when we arrived. And how happy Betty was after treatment

My dog needed overnight care for 2 days and I was impressed with everyone I encountered.. Updates were provided daily. I appreciated that the dog was not kept for longer than needed. Mila came home tired but in good spirits. She has never been away from us since we got her 6 months ago. I appreciated the care she was given. This a very professional hospital with staff who are well trained. I appreciated the kindness and compassion we received. It was a smooth process from admission to discharge.

my rabbit Bailey ate an avocado a couple months ago which led to an ER visit. While there wasn’t much that could be done about the avocado besides wait it out, but the overnight ER doctor did a full body exam and found a large mass in her abdomen. I think his name was Michael! I took her home and followed up promptly the next day and even as a new patient to the exotic specialist, they got me in within that week for imaging and then she was in for surgery the following week. I was told by a previous exotic vet that she was too old to be operated on. Dr Sojka was incredibly knowledgeable about rabbits and communicated clearly about options and next steps - and reassured me that she is not too old to be operated on. A large infected abscess was found and completely removed and had it not been identified during the ER visit, it could’ve been detrimental to her health. She’s made a complete recovery and I am so grateful that each staff member that interacted with her treated her with care and love. There were two female technicians that were very kind and engaged with Bailey and I know took good care of her after the surgery. I also called the overnight staff while she spend the night and they were kind enough to check on her and give a detailed update on her behavior.

The teams at Pieper have taken great care of my dog since the first time I needed emergency services which was 3 weeks after I got him! They always provide adequate details to enable me to make an informed decision and the cost estimates are very clear and accurate. Every staff member I have interacted with has been so friendly and helpful and it means a lot, especially during uncertain times of a pet emergency visit. The compassion and detail provided regarding diagnosis and treatment plans is greatly appreciated.

This was my first visit to the Piper Vet Emergency Room and I was very happy with the care my chinchilla received from everyone! Dr Jessica Urbanos was exceptional! She was very caring, thorough, and answered all my questions/concerns. It is very comforting to know that if my chinchilla ever needs emergent care, I can bring him to the Piper Memorial Vet ER and he will receive great care!

Precise, diligent, detailed medical work just doesn't say enough. Our expectations were exceeded in even many more ways. The approach to our dog's health issues was conservative, organized, and phased, thus, reducing our dog, Emmie's, stress. Emmie was treated as though she was the only fantastic pet being treated that day. No rushing through information or solutions. So many wonderful, thorough, comprehensive, and brilliantly kind souls working under one roof. We feel so lucky to be within driving distance. #Forever grateful.
< br /> How the doctor delivered the results and information left an impression on me. I was waiting to hear a foreboding tone in her voice, preparing me for bad news that was coming in her next sentences. Instead, her tone was a, "relax, we can handle this" kind of delivery. After reviewing everything I felt as though I could exhale. I had no idea I was so tied up in emotional knots until we began our trek home with answers and confidence.

I Took Bear here in a lot of pain, the doctor figured out it was his neck and she was right he was pinching a nerve in between his shoulder blades. She prescribed pain meds and said if he was not better in a few days come back but he did improve in 2 days. I would never have figured out he was pinching a nerve, The doctor was very helpful and helped me to no what was the matter with him, I am so glad I took him here. When I got here they took me right in and started treating him with me present. I would highly recommend this hospital for you pet. Taking care of Bear right a way and doing a good job.
