We had an emergency on Thanksgiving with our not quite 2 year old dog. The staff from the front office to the back office were wonderful. They were caring, supportive and kept you informed. This is not what I expected from a 24 hour pet hospital. We had to leave her overnight. We could call anytime to check on her. The vet called us in the morning for an update and to let us know we could pick her up. The price of the treatment were very reasonable. If you having a emergency with your pet this is the place to go.

I recently took my pet to PETS HOSPITAL, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and took extra care with my furry friend. From the front desk to the vets, everyone was so kind and professional.

What really stood out to me was the cost. Their prices are about half of what I usually pay in Santa Barbara, but the service quality was top-notch. I felt confident and comfortable leaving my pet in their hands, knowing they were in great care.

If you’re looking for a pet hospital that offers fantastic care without breaking the bank, PETS HOSPITAL is definitely the place to go. No more Santa Barbara for me—PETS HOSPITAL has won me over! Highly recommended!

PETS Hospital literally saved my dog’s life in June. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that destroys her red blood cells and required 3 emergency blood transfusions. The first two were done at PETS Hospital including a whole blood transfusion from one of the vets dogs, but on Sunday a week later when Lilly’s red blood count dropped again PETS was out of blood. The vets stabilized her and called around looking for a hospital with a blood supply in Lilly’s type. They found a hospital in Santa Barbara and we raced her down there. Up to 70% of the dogs diagnosed with IMHA don’t make it especially during the initial crisis. Lilly is still with us, still battling IMHA but is now stable. If it hadn’t been for PETS Hospital, their quick action and diligence I know Lilly would not have made it.

Just recently took my dog in for xylitol poisoning and they saved his life. Staff were nice and compassionate. They also had to deal with my dog trying to bite every one ?. Thank you! I hope we never come back though !

Very kind staff, once the staff saw my pet and understood that they needed care and were not in good health they were understanding and did seem to really care about making sure the animals were okay as their priority, which is the only thing I’d ask for going to any of these places. Thank you, I would trust them with my dogs health again, which for me I find it very hard to trust anyone with my fur child, so definitely 5 stars and my gratitude. Would recommend. Quality care, they only care about quality.

Had to take my BMD to get checked out . We thought it was bloat. After a thorough work up, we were sent home with all our concerns addressed. Great, compassionate staff.

I understand pets are taken in the order of care needed. I waited over an hour to even see the triage nurse all the while listening to the staff chit chat in the back room. Apparently dog lives are prioritized over cat lives because dogs that came in after me were triaged while my cat and I sat in the room.

Should I have been weeping and wailing to get your attention? Do I need to make a scene to get my pet triaged?

Why are animals not triaged immediately?

I’ve used this clinic before and they were awesome. Immediately helpful and friendly and took the *dog* back to check him immediately. Now my *cat* is even more ill than the dog was, and we sit and wait seeing absolutely no one. Equally busy nights.

This isn’t ok. If you can’t get a triage nurse to me within ten minutes of arriving, you shouldn’t be accepting pets at all.

Once the vet, Dr. Yang, came. She was lovely. Helpful and thorough.

This place is high quality, just the slowest service ever. Not sure why. It was busy when I got there but by the time I left, I was the only person there for the last hour or two.
