Excellent care of my German Shepherd while she was groomed.
Staff is helpful and caring toward myself and my dog.
My dog received an excellent spa treatment. Prices are alittle higher than other groomers but the wonderful care my dog received made it worth every penny!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. All the staff is amazing, especially Aaron Greenwood. I have 3 dogs (1 small and 2 large) and they were amazing with them. My chihuahua is very skittish and doesn’t come to anyone, and in a pupdate it mentioned that he came up to one of the staff members and gave kisses wanting pets. That never happens! Petropolis is a magical place where scared skittish dogs have tons of fun and get lots of love and attention. Any special accommodation’s my dogs needed they were prepared for and happy to accommodate.

The outdoor space looks really nice if your dog can be around other dogs for group play. Mine cannot and he came home with sores on his paw and nose from jumping on the door and trying to push it open with his nose. They did call me immediately when they noticed the sore on his paw, so it’s nice to know prior to picking him up. Wish they had some padding on the doors to protect from that, but maybe most dogs don’t have that issue. For an extra $14 he got a Christmas dinner plate , which was nice of them to offer. Staff is super kind and helpful. We will board here again when needed and I’ll ask if there’s anything they can put on the door to protect his paws and nose.

We had our little rescue dog spend the day at Petropolis. It was the first time in 6 months that she had been away from us since her adoption. She was so scared and the people at Petropolis were wonderful! They stayed by her side all day and helped her stay calm and relaxed. We will be returning for another daytime play session!

Took my dog Copper for a grooming session for the first time here today. Firstly he looks adorable, was happy to come back home, but didn’t seem scared when I picked him up. Additionally, the groomers took their time answering all my questions during drop off and ensured I was happy upon pick up. Transparently a little pricier then I would like to pay for a 13 pound dog hair cut (~$80), but knowing he was well taken care of all day makes it worth it and I will be back! Highly recommend!

They were so welcoming and took great care of my shy rescue Pomeranian. Natalie was so kind and caring towards my King. She's helped a lot making him feel better and learn to trust humans

My 7 month old Rottie spent a weekend at Petropolis while I was in town for a conference. The staff made me feel like my sweet girl was the most special dog in the world. They were all so warm and the “pup-dates” were everything. They sent me cute photos all weekend and I felt like my girl was truly cared for. If I’m ever back in town- I will 10/10 go again. 💛

If I could edit this review and give this company an even higher rating- I would. The day before our second trip to Petropolis- my pups had a little accident and was unable to attend camp for the week as she as stitches, staples and a nasty wound. Petropolis sent my sweet girl a care package and we didn’t even get to stay with them. This business is warm, kind and incredibly genuine. If you are a pet parent that loved your pet like a child- I 10/10 recommend Petropolis!
