Pet Wellness Center and Urgent Care is the best in the world. The people there really care about your family pets. I got a stray cat from the humane clinic in Herrin. When I brought my cat to Pet Wellness Center I didn't know that they had already seen her by humane clinic. Pet Wellness Center could not believe in the difference a year made. I Queen Kit is the only thing keeping me going. I'm disabled and I have a lot of medical problems. The staff at pet Wellness Center are a very caring and kind. I highly recommend them.

Not my usual vet but I had an emergency with my 9 month old kitten. They got me in asap (after I called 3 other places. The customer service was amazing and compassionate. The facility was spotless and looked like a spa - beautiful!

My dog was not in respiratory distress just breathing like he had a cold. I took him in 13 year-old goldendoodle. They never told me anything about him having a pneumothorax while they were doing a thoracentesis on him to draw air out around his heart nothing was ever said about it could kill my dog. Then Doctor said you are welcome to leave him here we would like to observe him, but there’s nobody that will be here tonight or you can come and pick him up. Of course I went to pick up I thought was just maybe still lethargic from the anesthesia. Nothing was said except let’s leave his IV in in case we need it in the morning so I’m thinking steroids maybe something IV fluids whatever. When I picked him up, nothing was ever said about a pneumothorax and nothing was ever said that he was dying. They sent him home with gabapentin if I would’ve left my dog there like they offered , He would have died a horrible, tragic death that that sweet baby did never deserve and if I left him there, like she offered, they wouldn’t even know how bad he suffered. They would’ve called me that morning to tell me he was dead. I will go to my grave to let everybody know, and I have the medical records and Dr. Kozak never said to me, let’s leave the IV in in case we have to euthanize him like she put in the medical records because I would’ve lost my mind. All my friends were here all my friends knew what happened. In the medical records, it talks about cancer, I was never told anything about cancer and if you thought a dog might have cancer and couldn’t survive a Thoracentesis wouldn’t you check labs first or ultra sound. The way the medical records read And her offering for me to leave my dog there without observation and no comfort meds, is malpractice. I was a hospice nurse the last 15 years of my career and that’s like leaving a hospice patient with no comfort meds that you know is dying. I hope you see him in your dreams every night suffering Because if it wasn’t for me, he would’ve suffered. I’m the one that made him comfortable. I had to and I’m sure they all got a good nights rest that night. Nothing was sad until the next day about euthanizing him. So when they say you can leave your dog there for observation, but there’s nobody there just know that your dog has nobody to help him. And when I put on Facebook that pet wellness killed my dog, people put underneath their they killed my dog too. They killed my dog too? Huh? Well they picked the right one this time. I can assure you, it will be on every social platform that I have every single day and signs around town. I will save any other animal from having to suffer like that and save anyone the grief that I’m going through right now. And to think that I let Dr. Kozak keep the 250 dollars to come to my home which they said is very uncommon to come to the home? But she would leave dex there to suffer. Wow. Sorry Charlie, this ain’t going to be swept under the rug. Oh and the second to last pic was the night before they killed him as u can see in the last picture. They put in the medical records that he was underweight. What do you think?

My dog had a very worrisome problem when his regular veterinarian was closed. Pet wellness was able to work me in right away. They were very thorough with my dog. The staff was very courteous and concerned about my dog. They diagnosed him and gave him the medication that he needed. The next day my dog was feeling so much better. I was so relieved and thankful for their support and service. I didn’t have to worry all weekend about my dogs health. Great place for your pets needs. Thank you so much ❤️

My dog Ester was having some back issues so my Vet. Recommended that I take her to see a Chiropractor, and he recommended someone at pet wellness center. Made an appointment and arrived on time. Waited 30 minutes in a room without anyone attending us. Right when I was about to leave the Chiropractor arrived. She apologized for being late and for no one noticing us that she was delayed on another patient. I set a second appointment at arrived early, I was put in a room a told someone would be with me. I waited 25 minutes this time with no contact from anyone. I left, told the people at the front desk that I was leaving and that this was the second time in a row that this had happened and that it was very unprofessional. Would not recommend this place.

My poor Dennis kitty had injured his foot while rough housing with his brothers. His vet couldn't see him that day so they suggested pet wellness. I called them and they said they could see him at 4:00 that day. I was so relieved. Everybody there was so kind and Dr. Ashe was so great. He x-rayed my kitty's leg and did a range of motion exam and determined he only had a soft tissue injury. I really appreciate them getting me in the same day as they were terribly busy when we arrived. If I lived closer to Marion this would be the only place I would take my three cats.

I have been going here for 3 years and loved it. I knew the prices were higher, but they took good care of my dogs so I didn’t mind. Got a puppy and scheduled her spay. They said it would be about $400. Knew that was high, but again, willing to pay. We were getting a snow storm the night before her scheduled surgery and they called to ask if I would board my dog so that she is there for her surgery in the morning and if the doctor doesn’t make it in we they will reschedule. I asked if I could just bring her in that morning, in case the doctor doesn’t come in to do the surgery. It would be pointless for her to stay there. They said yes to bring her at 9am because they will have a delayed opening due to weather. The day before the surgery, I get the invoice of $698 for the spay. She is 30lbs. The price increase was because of all the bloodwork and an EKG. I called and they “require” the bloodwork and EKG. I told them that I may possibly called back and cancel the spay since it was almost double the price I had originally been told. But I already had 3 days scheduled off work to take care of her after her surgery, so I never called back to cancel it. I got there at 8:30 am and waited until someone got there. Someone pulled up into the boarding place at 9am so my dog would have been alone all that time. I’m sure my dog wasn’t the only scheduled surgery that day. Then I went in there to ask about it and they said that the vet isn’t coming in today and someone should have let me know. Nobody did and my dog didn't have food or water since the evening before so that I could prepare her for this surgery. This whole experience was super unprofessional. There is no way a vet should be charging $700 for the spay of a dog.
