When I walked in I was surprised to see two women employees cleaning all the shopping carts and oiling the wheels. The top notch service didn't stop there but the floor salesman helped me to load all of the items I picked up for a order. Well done, I will go out of my way to be a long time customer for all of my pet needs. Thank you to the staff. The store is clean and the employees are helpful and hardworking.

We have visited several of the Pey Supplies Plus locations in St Louis but this location is the only one we have a problem with. The store staff is great and we have no qualms with them. It's the grooming department that seems to consistently have problems. We called to have our new puppies face cleaned up after we have already bathed her. They agreed gave me a price and we took her in. They literally shaved the middle of her face and it looked like a stripe down the center of her face. I didn't complain about the look because and just took her home. The next day she got into some mud and needed a bath and I booked her for a "Puppy Package" when I dropped her off they said they wouldn't trim her because she already had that the day before, do they would only bathe her. This was all said with a bad attitude but I didn't want to base their service off one team member. When I picked up, they in fact did not trim her, but again I did not complain. A week later I was going to use the self wash because again she had been digging in the yard and needed a bath but it was very unclean and the drain was stopped up. So I booked a "Puppy Wash" for a few hours later, when I arrived I was told that this is only a one time service and now I have to pay for the adult wash, even though I have a puppy within the age limit of the puppy wash. I would have paid the fee but the manner in which It was said made me not want to leave my dog or eve come back. I called another location and they said that was not their policy and they took my puppy in with no problem. It seems this is a common issue here and is not being addressed.

Signing up for discounts and promotions isn’t worth it. The deals are minimal—$1 or $5 off—and require spending a lot to get almost nothing in return. On top of that, the emails and texts are overwhelming, with spam coming way too often. Definitely not worth it.

The manager played real dumb, really rude like he didn’t understand how to go in and look in the system and tell me if delivered to North St. Louis; it’s a shame. I live between two stores and you guys only have a 7 mile radius that’s demographically bias, especially to disable people and people car.

I love this place! The staff is amazing. I came into the store to use their awesome pet washing station on my dirty bulldogs. My one bulldog, Franklin, escaped out of his leash and was running loose around the store. Ugh. At least 2-3 employees came to my rescue and helped me catch the assailant! The staff is purely amazing.

Khyra B. is simply the best groomer in town. We have a cockapoo who has curly hair. She never over trims him. He always looks so well groomed after a visit with Khyra. She is the main reason we shop at Pet Supplies Plus.

We have been loyal customers here for several years. Leilani should have VIP status as many toys as she's "enjoyed":)

-Friendly, knowledgeable staff -Curbside pickup and delivery (in select areas) available.
-Huge selection of hard to find pet foods (dry, fresh, toppers, etc...)
-An entire aisle devoted to toys of all kinds.
-Open until 9pm which is helpful if you work long hours.
*Join the rewards club for special pricing and coupons (it's worth it but be aware the rewards system is a little tedious and you need a long code to redeem points in store.)

Will never go back. First time, they almost doubled the price of groom with add ons - No explanation. Second time it was a different groomer with different add ons, not as expensive, but still wasn’t thrilled. This is my first time having a doodle though, so i figured maybe they just knew better and he needed something different. Next 2 times were fine with the exception of me explicitly stating NO TRIMMING (only wanting bath & brush) but they still trimmed. The last time i went in i finally said, “Ok, no trimming, no add-ons, I’m here every 4 weeks for bath & brush, i only want cut when needed,” and this HORRIBLE person Amber (who was NOT the one actually grooming my dog) decided to chime in giving her opinion on quite a few things. Next thing i know, she’s telling me that i needed to brush my own dog out at home before i come in or they’re going to cut his fur. I’m pretty sure that’s what I’m paying them to do…bath AND BRUSH. I was honestly caught completely off guard by the whole situation. I didn’t have time to argue and obviously didn’t feel comfortable with them grooming my dog going forward, so we left and i called to speak with the managers the next day. They said that basically the entire grooming experience is completely subjective to the person grooming the dog - what they want, goes. If they want to add on, they can. If they want to do this or NOT do this, it’s up to them. It’s great that management backs their employees, but i want to know that I’m going somewhere reliable and consistent each time. And certainly that I’m getting what I’m paying for (not more, not less and definitely not double). I’ve had dogs my entire life and this was the first poor grooming experience I’ve ever had, actually. Which is a bummer, because i live within walking distance of the store.

By the way, i took my dog home, brushed him out and never went back. I will be warning everyone (especially those with doodles) of my experience (and I’ve since heard others mention similar experiences with Pet Supplies Plus). Also, strange, i noticed they added my dog for a groom a few days later after being notified of an upcoming appointment via text - i never made that appointment so who knows what they were doing?!
