Very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating! Thank you Dr. Jen for your calm and assertive energy. We adopted a pig from the animal shelter who suffered an injury to her eye, and even though she is not a livestock vet, she made an exception for me and treated my potbelly piglet Pickles. She’s great with my bulldogs too!

Where has this group of amazing people been?!? They are all friendly, efficient, kind and honest. I had been with my previous vet for over 20 years and can't say that I ever got the care and consideration I got today. We got a welcome packet, detailed billing statement. Prices are fare and a good bargain for the care provided. So glad our family has found a new vet home.

We moved away but still keep this vet for our 80lb dog and senior cat. Great service. The animals seem comfortable around the staff. We have used the overnight boarding service, and the pets always seem happy and in good health when we pick them up. No issues.

The doctors at Peoria Area Vet are always kind and so helpful when we come in. I could not imagine better service or care for our pups! Dr. Jen and Dr. John both give excellent care to our pups!

Edited to add that Dr. Jen recently saw my senior dog on an emergency basis and she was able to diagnose the issue incredibly fast and was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining medicines and treatments for our girl. We are so grateful for the docs and staff here!

I cannot say enough great things about Dunlap vet! Especially Dr. Jen. My dog was recently very sick and had been seen numerous times by Pekin animal hospital. I knew something wasn’t right so I took her back to Dunlap (only started seeing new vet because we had moved) after one visit Dr Jen was able to diagnose what Pekin couldn’t in 3 visits. I would have saved hundreds by just sticking with Dunlap. I’ve learned my lesson and I’ll never stear away! My dog ended up having addisons disease and I truly believe Dr Jen saved her! So thankful for this office!

I brought my very old, very sick cat in on Tuesday. Every member of staff I encountered was patient, kind and compassionate. I was terrified for my cat, emotionally exhausted and could not afford much. They worked with me and my cat seems to be doing much better already. We really needed compassion on this day and they were there for us. Dunlap location is my go to from now on.
