Drs John and Jen and the whole staff at both the Chillicothe and Dunlap locations were absolutely fantastic! I hadn’t worked with them before and when my regular vet said they couldn’t help me when my cat had a bladder blockage, PAVG said, how quick can you get here. My Leo was there 9 days for surgery and I really felt like they genuinely cared about him. Dr John even held up his (Leo’s) paws and told me to give him a last kiss/snuggle before they took him back. I’ve never had a vet do that and recognize that they’re our babies. I’ve already recommended them to my mom and MIL if they ever need vet care for their cats. I can’t thank them enough for the highest quality care I’ve ever experienced at a vet. Thank you!

Everyone is very nice and friendly. The staff and vet takes my concerns seriously. They explain my bill when I ask about it. Overall, they are very thoughtful and helpful, good people.

So glad they were able to see my dog. She broke her leg this morning & they were the only vet within 50 mi that could see her today. Unfortunately, they couldn't repair the damage but they helped us get her into U of I today & surgery is scheduledfor tomorrow.

I took my puppy to Chillicothe Veterinary Care for a X-ray because I thought she had swallowed a rock. It was a relief to find out she didn’t. The staff was friendly and the vet did a great job explaining everything.

Dr. Deckert has been so kind in answering all of my questions when I brought my newly adopted dog in for a check up, providing advice, support, and suggestions for how to give her the best life possible. The staff is always very friendly and helpful whenever I visit, and they go out of their way to help my anxious pup feel as calm as possible on her vet visits.
