When there were no hope there were PFA Gurgaon to help a stray pup.
This is a story of a 8 month Pup name Bholu.
I use to feed this pup and his family since they were born but one day I heard the screams of Bholu - a lady ran over him with his white tata nexon and Bholu suffered the spine and tail bone injuries. On 21 May I called almost every NGO and shelter but only PFA came forward to help. They provided the Ambulance, X-Ray and treatment to him and in 2.5 months Bholu return home, WALKING AGAIN, It's a Miracle.
By God's grace and the selfless care provided by the PFA Gurgon team he is able to walk again.

It all started on 21st Feb. Our street dog Whitey met with an accident and fractured his front left leg. Being my first experience, I called PFA for help. Rajesh ji picked up the phone and sent ambulance to pick him up. I was assured that he will be fine. On 26th I enquired about him and got a video of him shared by Rajesh ji. A bandage was wrapped around his leg. I was informed by Dr Nitin that it was plaster and he will heel in 14-15 days. I visited him again on 10th March and found his leg in really bad condition. The wound was open with no plaster or bandage around it. They informed me that because of fluid build up they had to remove the plaster. They informed me that either plating or amputation are the only option. I thought of getting a second opinion and asked them to send him to Pet Life Vet hospital in Sector 83 on 12th Mar.They sent him very promptly. Seeing the condition, Dr Kamaljeet from Pet Life told me that it was most likely the leg was never plastered. He did the wound cleanup and badaging and asked me to take him to CGS Hospital. I took him there the same day and Dr Vikash informed me that since too many days have passed after the injury , plating will be risky and suggested amputation. The amputation was performed on 13th Mar and he was discharged on 16th March. I then took him to Friendicos NGO for medical care for 14 days the same day. I visited him on 19th and 23rd March. I got a call from Friendicos on 29th March that he was okay and ready for discharge. I could not visit as I was travelling and asked them to keep him for a few more days. I visited on 7th Apr to get him discharged. But he was not in good shape. Eyes were wet and there was nasal discharge. I was informed that he had again caught infections as his immunity was very weak and had very low haemoglobin. I asked them to keep him for a few more days until he was fine. But this morning on 11th Apr I was informed that he had passed away.

Long story short:
1. If you really are about your pet your first option should be CGS. But they don't provide long post operative medical care.
2. For medical care, Friendicos is good. You can negotiate the rates for stray dogs or other animals.
3. Don't get fooled by the good friendly behaviour of Dr Nitin or Rajesh Ji at PFA.

Based on my experience and the feedback received by other specialists, it seems that Dr Nitin at PFA did not do his job properly. Even a simple plaster was not done which cost Whitey his life after almost 2 months of struggle.
I paid Rs 1000 during pick-up and Rs 200 to the driver for dropping off Whitey at Pet Life.

Advice to PFA: ee as
1. If money is required for treatment please be open about it and inform about the charges upfront. There is no harm until life is getting saved.
2. Inform about the actual condition of street animals/ pets so that we can take preventive actions in a timely manner.
3. Don't use a dog catcher for rescuing. It really hurts them and does u damage. This should be the last option in any rescue.

I usually feed stray animals like dogs and cats. And whenever I feel like any of them is not feeling good I take them here. They are very good with the animals and treat them. They handle accidental cases very well in my opinion. Help animals and get them treated.

I am really very, very satisfied with all of them they are very hard working in delhi or gurgaon I saw one ngo PFA to support all and every where they do quickly service they try to take care as much as can many accidents case they handil very careful all situations...
