This is a wonderful place to board your pet! Ricky has been coming here since he was a puppy and he’s now eight. I send an email with our dates, get a confirmation, drop him off, then pick him up. Pretty simple. We also sometimes communicate via FB Messenger and texts. It’s very reassuring to know we have a safe place for Ricky where he will get great care while we travel!

I recently moved to the area and have been traveling for business regularly and needed someone in the Macomb area I can trust to watch my dog as I don't have any family here.

I called and left messages several times with no return call. After a few days of trying I left a voice mail explaining my difficulties. I received a return call explaining I'd need paper work for my animal and to go ahead and schedule the appointment for next Monday.

On Friday I tried texting and calling with my paperwork information and no return call. I assumed that the owner was in the back working with animals( per her advice) so I took a drive out of town hoping to make contact and there was a sign on the door stating that she was not there and was in town.

It was at this point that I decided to take my animal elsewhere.

I'm scheduled to travel 25 times for work soon and it's unfortunate I had to go somewhere else.

I highly recommend Paws-N-Claws. We have our Border Collie groomed and boarded there. It is clean and has nice size kennels with outdoor runs. Jerri and her staff are friendly and caring - always putting the best interest of our pets first. I can go on vacation and know that our pet is being well taken care of!

Our family has boarded both our dog and cat at Paws-N-Claws on several occasions, the dog more so than the cat. We have always been very happy with the service, the environment, and the care our pets receive while there. I have recommended Paws-N-Claws to several of our friends and do recommend it to anyone wanting to board his or her pet. They do a great job.

I have taken my dogs to Paws-N-Claws since they opened. My beagle always jumps out of the car and runs inside when we arrive. She loves staying there because she gets time to run off-leash in the fenced-in play area. My dog is high-maintenance, and Jeri takes extremely good care of her every time.
When I need to schedule an appointment, I know to leave a message. Jeri always gets back to me in a timely matter. I also know that I need to bring my dog’s vaccination records when I board her. Like every business, they have hours that they open and close, and I plan my drop-off and pick-up around those times. I strongly recommend Paws-N-Claws.
