We ended up at Paws N Claws because we desperately needed a second opinion. Our previous vet was overcharging us and getting nowhere. Our assigned vet definitely had great instincts, so she proceeded to take a test for us that finally gave us answers. My best friend passed, but I appreciated the understanding, care and real years of experience that this office and their vets displayed. For this, I am forever grateful.

EDITED TO ADD: DR. CAROLINE AND DR. GLENN ARE FABULOUS. Dr. Caroline especially for listening to my concerns about the front office staff. Lauren, do not ever suggest someone "KNEE" their puppy in a CAST to stop them from jumping. Katie and the other girl at the front with the glasses, please leave and find another job. You have no business working with humans let alone helpless animals. Katie, you are better suited for walmart considering your attitude. I've been coming to this vet for 3 years and it's been awful from beginning to end with the receptionists here. Even though the vets here are OUTSTANDING, I can't keep taking the abuse from the front office staff.

The veterinarians that reside here are good, however, their front office staff is horrific. They all need a course in etiquette training. You don't call clients from the hallway into a room, you don't discuss personal information in the lobby for all clients to hear, you greet clients with a warm greeting or at the very least, A SMILE. The receptionists here are plain AWFUL. Lauren, Kayla (the heavy set one with shorter bangs) and the one with her hair tied back and in glasses, they are all SHAMEFUL when dealing with clients. Get ALL NEW office staff and maybe we will return. Until then, good riddance.

We have been coming to P&C since they first opened. The staff & vets are knowledgeable, compassionate and always give us great info and explanations. They have seen us through 7 dogs, 1 cat, a macaw and numerous hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, a parakeet & a ferret. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I have referred numerous friends and they are happy also. And as an added bonus, they priced reasonably!

We only visited Paws and Claws with our dog Daisy once, at the end of her life. The doctor sat with her, cuddled her close, and gave her tender care. The process was comforting to know she was in such caring hands. Additionally, they even sent a card signed by EVERY doctor and nurse in the hospital, and a paw print of our dear departed puppy. An absolute class act of compassion and care, and if/when we get another pet, they’ll be the first place we go. Highly recommended!

Small veterinary hospital located on Yorba Linda Blvd. They also have a dog daycare facility nextdoor.

Brought one of my dogs here for the first time for an annual physical with Dr. Pyne. I didn't like that they wouldn't examine my dog in the room - they took her to the back. Also, not sure if their AC was broken or what but the exam room I was in had little protection from the sun and I was uncomfortably hot! ?

Dr. Payne recommended over $2000 in diagnostics for my dog's allergies. I thought it was a rather aggressive approach to something that was being managed well for several years with meds.

Caroline, the veterinarian, is the best. She has been caring for my yellow lab for fifteen years. She feels like part of the family. Glen, her husband, is a great surgeon.

My dog has a skin condition I wanted checked before it grew to be something worse (right now I told receptionist she had sores and patchy swollen skin). Came in as a walk in that has filled out intake paperwork a month ago. So was hoping to be seen. However, they said the soonest they could be seen was Friday, today was Monday, and maybe could drop off Thurs. I asked to speak to the vet or manager, they wouldn't talk to me. I waited about an hour to see if they could squeeze us in if someone didn't show, then left without being seen. My last vet before I moved her you got seen and put in a waiting room right away, even without appointment. I'll be going back to them. Bottom line is if my dog needs treatment, it couldn't be scheduled in a reasonable time at this place, and walk-ins should be taken care of ASAP. Also, vaccinations here were over double what I just paid my old vet about 8 miles away.
