We sent our 9 month old Cocker Spaniel for the 4 week board and train and were very happy with the results. Courtney provided detailed updates with photos and videos twice a week through his stay. We felt like he was well taken care of by both the training and boarding staff. The training is a good investment but be prepared to continue their lessons so they continue to be obedient dogs as training is not a one stop shop. This was well worth the drive from Chicago and we highly recommend their facilities and training. Wish we lived closer to send him to day care as the dogs always look happy coming and going.

We took our 5 month old puppy Sassy for training with Courtney and she was amazing. She taught me how to train her to stop jumping and nipping and also taught the commands. Everyone is great there and she loves doggy daycare now also. Thank you so much Courtney and all the other staff. I will continue to train her like you taught me. Love this place!

I drove 3hours to take my dog Zarabanda for the 4 - Week "Off Leash" Remote Collar Program. I have to say that it was by far the best decision I made for my Big boy. Nothing but the best for him . It was well worth every cent and the time it took to get there . Yes their where many places in and around Chicago. I did extensive research for 4 months to ensure I would take Zarabanda to the right place. They are a very professional, courteous staff . They treat your dog like their very own which was evident when I returned to pick him up. The training is top notch. Very precise and thorough I’m a 30 year Army veteran and this is a veteran owned business which was also very important to me. Courtney Schleman, Training Director was outstanding in all of her interactions with both myself and Zarabanda. Not only was she professional but also very genuine and passionate about the training. I am looking forward to taking Zarabanda back for Protection training when he is of age to do so. 100% satisfied with the overall experience. Thank you so much. We adopted this sweet girl at 6 months old and she was more than a handful to say the least. She was a runner, had no training whatsoever, and seemed to only do her own thing. With a wedding, honeymoon, and the holidays all in December, we signed her up for the 4 week board and train, and Paw-a-day helped us accomplish it all, without worrying about Nova during our time away.

Kennadi was Nova’s trainer for the 4 weeks, and she kept us up to date on Novas progress. She continued to make progress daily and we loved the communication along with the picture and video updates. At the end of the 4 weeks at her graduation, I was amazed with the total transformation that occurred within Nova.

She was 9 months old when training started in December, and just turned 1 this month. We are still working with her daily to help fortify her training, but the strong foundation she was given at Paw-a-day has been nothing less than excellent.

We can’t begin to express our gratitude to Kennadi, Tony, and the entire staff for the exceptional care and professionalism shown towards our Nova and to us.

My dog completed the six week board and train program with Courtney. She did an amazing job with him. He struggled with aggression and guarding issues. After Courtney worked her magic on him he has been a perfect gentleman. I can't thank her enough for all the hard work she did with him.

I highly recommend Courtney and Paw-a-day Inn. They treated Charlie like their own, I received updates a couple times a week so I could see the progress he was making in his board and train program. Since coming home, Charlie has been a different dog, well-behaved, walkable, and less reactive. Thank you Courtney!

Boarding has been an issue for for years. Our year-old beagles comes home nervous and so far out of her routine that it takes her a couple of days to readjust. That was not the case after our first time at Paw-A-Day. We noticed the difference as soon as we picked her up. She was much calmer and happier. She came home and was her normal, happy self! We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. Thank you, Paw-A-Day! We will be using you in the future for our boarding needs.

5 stars!!! Our 1 year old GSD arrived in our home from a rescue organization and immediately presented urgent needs to address reactivity and what seemed to be unprovoked acts of aggression. Our professional trainer, Courtney, worked intensively with him in Midprok9’s Aggression Modification board and train program. The program integrated an upfront meet&greet/consultation session with her to establish training objectives, then her frequent video and text updates (including our questions answered) throughout the training weeks. We were bracing for bad news and the possibility of heartbreaking outcomes. Instead, we saw evidence for a new, steady, clear mindset in our pup that made possible vastly better behavior choices. The board and train program concluded with an in-person demonstration/practice session with Courtney and a discussion of key steps for long-term success. His continued growth now requires our daily commitment to reinforce the training he received from Courtney—for the foreseeable future. He continues to be extremely excited to see Courtney at Paw-a-Day each time he comes for a day of socializing play groups. How many times have we said we’d not be enjoying this beautiful, eager dog now if left to our own training efforts? (and we tried!) It’s accurate to say that we almost certainly would have painfully needed to re-surrender our dog to the rescue organization if not for the knowledge, skills and dedication of Courtney and the high bar for results set by Midprok9 training.
