I was hesitant to write a low review because while I do want to support small business, I feel like their Google rating is misleading and future prospects need to be aware.

I recently took my dog here, and while the actual grooming was decent, I cannot recommend this place due to the poor conditions and questionable practices.

When first arriving, I was shocked at the state of the facility as all the pictures on google looked fine, but in person, the place is dirty, old, and reeks of urine and feces. I don't expect any pet place to smell like roses, but the stench was really bad -- a worrisome sign of inadequate hygiene and general practice. When I dropped my dog off early in the morning for one of the first appointments, the staff looked barely awake, yet there were already dogs roaming freely in the back. This lack of professionalism was concerning right off the bat. Despite arriving early, it still took more than the full 4 hour standard estimation to complete his grooming, which was surprising given the early appointment.

When I came to pick him up, I was shocked to find my dog loose in the back with a group of other dogs. It’s dangerous and irresponsible to let multiple dogs roam freely in a grooming salon. You can’t possibly monitor their behavior or control interactions when you're busy grooming, let alone focus on grooming other dogs safely in the same area.

But what troubles me the MOST is how my dog has behaved since the visit. I can't say for certain what happened, but our old boy flinches whenever I or my wife try to pet his head, something he's NEVER done before. This dramatic change in behavior has made me deeply concerned about how he was handled.

The haircut itself was fine, but with the state of the facility and other concerns I will definitely not be returning,

Erica n Michelle have been grooming my dog for 10 years now.. They do such a great job.. I even moved out of area n still drive over an hr just for them to cut my dogs hair. They really care for ur pets like one of there own.. Thank you paw prints!!
