I just wanted to take a moment to shine a light on one of the BEST animal hospitals, I could ever had the pleasure of working for and with. I just lost my 15 year old, Hannah Banana, as they know her. And to put it lightly, I was an absolute mess, as she has been my best friend for 15 years. She was a life long patient of Palos Animal Hospital and she ALWAYS trusted them, despite having a troubled past. She didn’t trust many people, in her life, but the Staff and Doctors continuously treated her with kid gloves, they were patient, they were kind, and I will be FOREVER grateful to each and every one of them. I had the pleasure of working, for this amazing hospital, for almost 10 years. So not only do I know first hand, the compassion, the willingness to go above and beyond, and the love you feel when leaving this hospital, I know that god blessed me by making me apart of this team. Each and every one of the doctors seen my Hannah, over the 15 years and their character has never waivered, they are the absolute best human beings on earth and I’m so proud to say they are my family and I love them very much ❤️💕🐶 thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you did, for my bug, over the years, she meant soooooooo much to me, and I miss her dearly but she wouldn’t have made 15 years without the love of Palos Animal Hospital.

As a first time dog owner, I have so appreciated the doctors and staff at Palos Animal Hospital. Dr. Rachel has been extremely helpful answering any and all questions we've had, and I love that she takes our dog's comfort and experience into account with her care and recommendations. Thanks to her and everyone at PAH, he loves going to the vet and I think that's the best review of all!

Dr. Turek & Dr. Thomas are my go to at Palos! I cannot speak highly enough of these extraordinary women. Recently, my poor baby starting limping. Dr. Thomas was able to fit me in the next day. My dog Axel, is very fearful, and at times can be difficult to treat and handle. Dr. Thomas was so patient and kind with him. She thoroughly explained his CCL injury, provided all options, went over x-rays, and made sure we understood everything. She continuously goes above and beyond. I honestly hope she stays at Palos for a while! Thank you to everyone at Palos!

Can not say enough good things about Palos Animal hospital. This week my dog needed emergency surgery, and everything was so smooth and easy. Dr. Sankey originally treated and diagnosed my dog, and surgery was performed by Dr. Turek. Absolute professionals, that are kind and caring! Every team member I have had interactions with has been professional and friendly. They kept me informed about my dogs care, and gave me the written discharge instructions that covered all the care he would need. Wonderful doctors and staff!! Photo of my dog before he got sick.

I have a rescue pup that I have been bringing here for a while. She had a bad start to life and was a day away from being euthanized because her fears were misinterpreted for aggression. Many many thanks to Dr. Shepard for your patience with her and helping me treat all her ailments. There is nobody I trust more with the care of my dog. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, Dr. Shepard listens to all my concerns, explains all that can be done and is just an outstanding vet. The staff is so nice, helpful and friendly. I really can’t say enough. Thank you Dr. Shepard and staff for all you do.

We had a senior dog that needed help. The staff was so kind and respectful. Dr Turek was wonderful and took such loving care of our girl. We are grateful to the entire team for their compassion and professionalism.
