I have gone to a few vets in Chicago, but haven’t found someone I felt extra confident in until I went to Dr. Lauren Jakubowski here. Also every single person from the front desk to the techs were very professional and welcoming. She was so patient, kind, and most importantly very knowledgeable informative with everything I asked! As an owner of a super senior bulldog, I can say vets like this are hard to come by. Won’t be going anywhere else! ❤️

Great experience for cats of all ages! There are separate entrances and waiting areas for dogs and cats to keep the area calm. Every staff member I have talked over the phone, in person and online, has been excellent, organized, and informative. I've had appointments with Dr. Drazner, Dr. Jakubowski, and Dr. Ochs, and they have all been so helpful! It's clear the staff have a team mindset.

Oz Animal Hospital is there for your pets, whether it's wellness visits, advising about a chronic condition or advising during an emergency!

We have had a few different primary vets in town for our dog since 2020, and Oz is by far our favorite! The offices are really clean and vibrant, the staff are all really friendly and welcoming. The techs are great with our dog, and the two vets we’ve seen so far are both really competent and caring. Their records are all kept online, which seems to make our dog’s care from visit to visit more seamless, and they’re tracking well on our dog’s medical history (which is not insignificant) from visit to visit. Highly recommend!

There's some serious lack of communication that goes on here. If you're doing basic checkups, vaccines, anything that doesn't require multiple visits and phone calls you're fine. Something more serious, doesn't appear so... My cat was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that will require at least 2 surgeries for removal plus everything that goes with it. The results were in on Monday, they told me on Wednesday and I have been hounding them ever since for more information and what next. Ive been trying to get a quote so I have an idea how much to prepare especially since they expect it all up front day of service. Still haven't talked to the Dr and I had to text them to finally get the appointments even booked. I'm very anxious about this whole process but it feels like they literally dropped the worst news and then dipped. I don't know what to expect with this procedure, if she'll have to stay over night, no quote, nothing because I can't seem to get a straight response. This process has been so frustrating so far and I just want to get my girl what she needs. I'm praying the actual procedure goes fine and it's just their communication that's lacking so poorly and not their ability to care....

Just switched to Oz Rogers Park from a local vet office that went corporate. I couldn’t be happier! They are super friendly, accessible, respectful, professional, and patient. The front desk folks are attentive, and the waiting area has a calm vibe. They listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions, gave me options, and it never felt rushed. Procedures are also less expensive at Oz than my old place. And best of all, my reactive dog was laying on the floor getting belly rubs five minutes into the appointment. So thankful to have found them, and that they are just a few blocks away!

Amazing and compassionate care, we are so lucky to have them in our community! The staff are wonderful and so kind, such a friendly environment!

Love it ! You can tell that they are experienced and know what they are talking about. They are definitely affordable. I took my puppy here because she was constantly throwing up and prior to the visit I took her to another animal hospital which didn’t help at all. But they helped my puppy and talked to me about her overall health and how to maintain her health. She is now energetic and is not throwing up ! Thank you ox animal hospital!!!!!! I also give her petlab co gut & digestion health chews and they work really well

Horrible. First time it was great second time big fat no. My dog had an issue with eating and not being able to have bowl movements. They supposedly did some X-rays sent me them but I cannot access it and wonder why… anyways I’m that’s besides the point they only charged me 500+ when the front desk said it would be 350 how or why would the prices be changed Odd huh? They really don’t care about your pet they just want your money. I’m seriously upset and would wish a refund this is ridiculous. They only prescribed laxative to my pup not ONLY did it make it worse and didn’t help but he kept throwing it back up definitely not okay. I had to figure out home remedies and I went to Petco they suggested a puree pumpkin to feed my dog and that was the BEST HELP only costed $7 by the way meanwhile I had to pay HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO THIS VET that did not help my dog. I definitely do NOT RECOMMEND This vet. In my personal experience I definitely do not recommend it they will tell you a price and later add some random bs to make it more costly. Not right. To tell me my dogs x rays are fine when they weren’t is really suspicious. I have the messages and I will gladly send this to my lawyer and get this sorted.
