Le estoy dando una estrella para poder pasar al comentario y poder expresar mi enojo, mi frustración y sobre todo lo mal que se siente cuando te engañan en tu cara mi mamá fue allí porque la operaron del tobillo y necesitaba terapia. Se suponía que debían enfocarse en la pierna buena para que se pudiera ir a casa y poder afincar solo la pierna buena porque tiene un stroke en la buena. Pues no le hacen otros ejercicios y no atienden esa pierna no les conviene que ella afinque la otra pierna para que no se valla a la casa ella tenía problemas con el medicaid y ellos le hicieron una aplicación para que les pagará y pusieron la dirección de ellos como si ella viviera allí para eventualmente quitarle los beneficios . Las CNA no sirven ninguna la dejaron hecha necesidades por 2 horas no fueron a cambiarla. Ella sufre de estreñimiento empezá a vomitar yo voy y pregyen la enfermería que como salió el rayos x y me dicen bien solo hay que darle medicina para que pueda evacuar y votar los gases. Entonces me voy porque supuestamente estaba todo bien. Cómo a las 2 horas me llama la señora que comparte cuarto con ella que mi mamá está mal que está vomitando mucho. Cuando llegó la veo vomitando y estaba vomitando las heces. Salgo corriendo y le dijo al enfermero que está pasando si me dijeron que estaba todo bien incluso está tarde cuando me avisaron que estaba mal llame a la enfermera por teléfono y me dijo eso debe de ser una gastritis por tanta pastilla y que no come. Ella está bien el doctor reviso los exámenes y están bien MENTIRA. Después me dice el enfermero de las 7 a mira en el examen salió que tiene una obstrucción intestinal y le digo pero como si me dijeron que todo estaba bien y me dice no se lo acabo de ver osea que el papel que me enseñaron no era el resultado de mi mamá me engañaron y ahora mi mamá está muy mal en el hospital con una infección muy mala en el estómago una bacteria.

I recently toured this facility about 3 months ago while attempting to help a family friend find long term care for her aging father and I wasn’t too impressed. However, revisiting on yesterday…what a difference! As a RN I was thoroughly impressed by said difference!

We seem to have come during a week of celebration for the staff and it looks as if even the patients were in great spirits celebrating the staff. I do think the new Director has a big part to do with this transformation and I am happy to see it. I look forward to seeing how my friends father transitions here and seeing how the facility grows!

My father has been at this facility for only 1 week and our experience has been horrible. The first day we went to see him there was another resident in his room and the staff tried to get her out but she refused so they just left her there going through the other residents things. And there response was she’ll find her way out. I myself walked her out of the room. We try to call and check on him and every time we are transferred to the nurses station we never get a response. We’ve asked and left several messages for someone to call us back about our concerns and no one calls us back. It’s a very scary thought that we leave our loved ones there with dementia thinking they will get the best care and we can’t even call and ask how they’re doing. Whatever you do do not leave your family members at this facility. We are in the process of figuring out other arrangements for my father.

I am delighted to share my positive experience with the new Executive Director. She has infused the facility with refreshing energy and a wealth of expertise. As I tour the very same facility back in February.

During my tour, I was pleasantly surprised at, how she demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a genuine passion for making a difference. I highly recommend this facility and look forward to moving my loved one here in the near future.

This place is absolutly terrible, recently had my father here, was tryn to contact him one day and he wouldn't awnser his own phone, called the facility to ask if he was alright and they kept sliding by my question. I had a bad feeling so went up in person and my dad was absolutly drugged up. I ended up calling 911 to get the ambulance and they had to hit him with narc due to the facility OverDosing him with pain meds.

I'm just absolutly upset with this place and would highly recommend you don't send your loved one here. The place smells like mold and poop. I hope this review gets out to anyone that is looking at this place cause my heart is still hurt after what happen with my dad here. DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

I am writing from NY and planning to bring my mother back to NY where she will be properly treated with true professionals‼️
Firstly, case managers’ incompetence and absence of follow up is a disgrace to the social worker profession…my brother who is a Director of social workers and programs in NY warned me not to be surprised at the incompetence I was about to encounter. Hence, I asked to speak with the nurse supervisor, who behaved in such an unprofessional manner words cannot even begin to describe. My mother was discharged and this “supervisor” exact words when I asked why I was not contacted as per our previous agreement, especially because my mother’s safety was the primary reasons for ALL my discussions‼️ responded it was not im their policy they be required to inform me of my mother’s discharge🤦🏽‍♀️
What kind of response is this towards a family member, her daughter‼️
I am seriously considering contacting the ombudsman and reporting this entire debacle…soon as I make arrangements to secure a safe place for my mom.

I was told service for the aged in Florida is atrocious. Maybe Governer DeSantis’ office should also be notified.

As a retired clinician and my brother in the field of social work we just may be the right professionals to make such reports!
