Please read this if you care about your dog and are thinking about leaving your dog here. Dont even bother booking this place, even if you absolutely need to. You probably are better off leaving the dog at your house, with someone coming by everyday. So basically we were a bit concerned with leaving him at this place, because of the review somebody left about a year ago. It said that their dog was very dehydrated when they got the dog back and that he had a bunch of allergies acting up, and was peeing all over their house. Also they had mentioned that it sounded like a guy, which I would assume it’s same guy that is always there, was yelling and kicking at the dogs cages. We really should’ve never left our dog here honestly. Waste of money and our poor dog had to go through whatever he went through. If only dogs could talk. Anyway, this is what happened: First off, We had a dog bed and dog toy for him. When we came to pick him up both his dog bed and toy were out in the front on some boxes. That means that he wasn’t even on the bed when we were coming to pick him up. The first thing we noticed when we saw him was that he was very very skinny. We have never seen him that skinny before, he was literally skin and bones. All you could see was just his ribs. You could see and feel his spine as well. For the next 4-5 days in a row after we got him back at home, he was at his food bowl and water bowl constantly. Even now, about a week or two later, he is still at his food and water bowl much more than usual. The man said that our dog wasn’t eating at first and he was picking at his food, but then that he started eating his food good. He is so skinny that it looks like he hasn’t been eating for majority of the days he’s been there, which was 11 days. Sure that could be the dogs fault if he doesn’t want to eat, but then again we paid for our dog to stay somewhere safe and be taken care of, meaning also being well fed. The next thing is that when I was washing him after we got home from the kennel, there was a layer of dried on poop on his butt, which was not on there before because I had washed him right before he had left to the boarding kennel. I had also noticed when I would touch or wash him by his legs, he would be very uncomfortable and would turn away to make me not be able to touch him there. After I washed him, we inspected his legs and right on his “elbow”, I guess you could say, there were these wounds. Right on the corner of his elbow. We are guessing he must’ve been laying on the hard floor and might’ve not even had his bed or toy in there with him. How else could that happen?! Below are pictures and on one of his legs, the wound was huge and it was literally open, just starting to close. He had some wounds on at least all his legs, not as big as that one, but all his legs had some sort of smaller scab. Also, The man had said that they will give updates about our dog every few days, which in fact did not happen. Now, our dog keeps licking his wound on his leg, so now we have to go to the vet to make sure he didn’t get an infection. It’s just shocking that a place like this is still open if there is such little care and responsibility for the dogs left here. If you care about your babies don’t leave them at this place. Really. We are never coming here again and that is a sure fact. Thanks for reading this. The first 4 pictures are taken the second day after we got him back. The last 2 are taken about a week after we got him back.

Been boarding our dog here for years, each time we travel out of town. They take good care of their boarders.

Took my dog here for vacation recently and I was already nervous because my dog is dog aggressive and this was a new place for us both and she has a lot of allergies and things like that so when I came back to pick her up the first thing is when I was waiting for the guy at the desk and I could hear him in the back screaming at the dogs and what sounded like him smacking/kicking the cages. Then when he finally came up he kept complaining about how my dog wouldn’t stop barking and lunging at the cages when dogs passed by (even though we told him on the phone multiple times and when we dropped her off, that she was dog aggressive) then when he gave me my dog she was extremely red in her ears, eyes and body, to which she only reacts like that when she has had food she’s allergic to. Which we provided our own food so she wouldn’t be reacting like this. Then she had either sweat/drool going down her neck and I had to find water in my car to give her to drink and when she got some she acted like she didn’t drink water in days. Even when we got home I had to give her multiple refills on water bc she was so thirsty/dehydrated. And after I brought her home she started acting weird and now keeps pooping literal diarrhea everywhere and uncontrollably vomiting, will eat very little and is restless. I’m having to make an emergency vet trip bc of this. I’m highly disappointed and will NOT be bringing my dog back.

We have been coming here for years and have received the best tips, the best prices, and the best nutritional food for our pets. I can't believe it took me this long to leave a review. Doug is absolutely the best. He's up on the latest food on the market, the latest news and is very knowledgeable about the companies that make the food. He's been a great resource for us in addition to having what we need and special ordering if it's not in stock. He's also been extremely accommodating for us. I can't say enough, but he goes above and beyond any service you'd find somewhere else. Thank you!

My dog stayed 7 days and was returned in good health. The place is affordable. Needs some updates and better cleaners; but overall the owner was kind and I feel comfortable my dog was taken care of.

I have 2 pit bulls and they can be difficult to handle. I shared the potential concern with the owner & my family & I were able to enjoy a 28hr window together; something that had not occured since we brought them home from a shelter. We will do business there again!!
