Was able to get my dog in for treatment in less than an hour after calling just after they opened on a Monday morning. Not only did Dr Lane treat an aggressive ear infection she was able to treat his allergies and annoying scratching and itching. he has been resting peacefully without the bothering itch. Thank you for taking good care of our Big Puppy.

Dr. Lane and her staff have been extremely helpful, thorough and compassionate in treating our dog. Honestly, the care they have provided surpasses that of many human primary care practices. They are transparent about costs and the office is clean and well run. Highly recommended.

This vet does not seem to like animals. I wrote a bad review because they surprised me with undisclosed costs when I took my dog in. They were also condescending when I couldn’t spend $1200 on the full nine yards of care for my dog and could only afford the $450 of necessary treatments (that then turned into nearly $600 with the charges I wasn’t told about).
She called me to see if I would take the review down but did not offer a refund for the surprise charges so I said no.
That was a few months ago. Today I called them because last night I found my cat playing with a bat and realized I needed to get her a rabies shot asap. I figured that the vet and I could talk in person to hash things out and maybe put it all behind us. I took the review down and called. The receptionist was wonderful and concerned for my animal and was trying to get me in today. Then she talked to the vet. The vet is refusing to see my cat because of the review. So much for putting things behind us.

Dr. Lane has cared for all of my pets for maybe a decade. My pets have only gotten the best care at Occidental Vet. Dr. Lane & staff are top notch & I highly recommend Dr.Lane. My dogs actually love going to the vet!

This vet helped us out in an emergency with our two dogs and got us in on short notice and provided excellent care. Also 24hr turnaround on fecal tests is very convenient. Would recommend.
