I've always had good service from Dr Jim Aaron's and his staff, whether it's on the phone, by email, or in office. I feel like my dogs are actually getting that personal touch that a lot of veterinary clinics are losing nowadays. He gives all the vaccinations for much less than a regular clinic would charge me & he does it skillfully. Spays & neuter are also done skillfully. I am so glad to have found this place. It's just a few minutes out of Paso Robles on a beautiful country road. He is humorous & professional.

Dr. Aarons and his staff are so kind with my animals. Although he does not have fancy equipment, he is down to earth. Plus he charges fees that are reminiscent of what vets previously charged for treatments. If you are tired of paying exorbitant prices, and of vets forcing you to do procedures you do not want, please, do yourself and your animals a favor and give this vet a try. It is worth the drive.

It was time to do something about my dog's awful breath. I knew she needed a serious teeth cleaning, but I couldn't afford the estimate from her vet. My sister told me about a vet she knew in Paso that I should check out. I called for an estimate, and scheduled an appointment for just a few days later.

It was well worth the drive to see Dr. Aaron, The Country Vet. It was the best experience I've ever had taking a pet to the vet. The vibe is casual, relaxed, friendly, and stress free. The office is far from fancy, but I'll take reasonable fees over matching decor any day. My dog received great care and recovered quickly. Thank you Dr. Aaron and staff.

I brought my fur babies here for an annual exam and they didn’t examine them well enough to notice or treat their ear infections. When I called them and mentioned it, they wanted me to bring them back in for another exam which comes with another fee and it had only been 4 days since their initial visit. They said they noticed their ears were red but didn’t address it. They failed to take responsibility and only cared about charging me another exam fee. The MD was rude to the staff and I refused to bring them back their just so they could take more of my money. The first visit for them was already a little over $500. The right thing to do was to have them come back in, waive the fee and give them the medication they needed. I have a record of their medication for previous ear infections but they refused to provide it, insisting that they had to examine them again after seeing them 4 days prior. I recommend staying away from these greedy people because they will try anything to collect those fees. The medication is about $30 or so, but these people want the exam fee which is $75 on top of the medication cost even after they dropped the ball and should have treated them with the first visit.
