The entire Staff at Stars rehabilitation in Astoria is wonderful! As soon as you walk in you are welcomed. They are so accommodating and friendly. My brother, who is special needs, and is so nervous to go to any appointments is so happy to be there! He is not anxious at all and looks forward to seeing all the friendly faces of all who work there. I want to put on a special word for Matthew at the front desk to thank him. He goes above and beyond and it is so appreciated that I think he should be commended for a Great job!

If you need to recover from an injury, this is the place to go. All the staff members are friendly, considerate, professional, and know their stuff, and the facility is bright, clean, spacious, and modern. Matthew conducted my initial assessment, which led me to the path of recovery. He was smart, intuitive, and seemed to know exactly what I needed to heal. My following therapy sessions with Joseph were fun and helpful. He was knowledgeable and patient as well as a great conversationalist. Needless to say, I have recovered fully, so a big thank you to the STARS staff!

I highly recommend Star rehab in Astoria. My mom had two joint replacement surgeries and also suffered a mild stroke, which left her unable to walk on her own and feeling very depressed. While working with Diane in rehab, she started to improve and even regained her smile.
Diane is not only kind but also an expert in her field. She has been helping my mom make great progress and always gives her best. We are truly grateful to Diane.

I'm currently visiting the U.S. to take care of my mom, so my English isn't perfect, but the staff at the front desk are always patient and make an effort to understand me. Thank you!

Unfortunately, my mom might not be able to continue rehab due to exceeding her Medicare cap. She really wants to keep going, but we’re unsure if it will be possible. We also didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to Diane.

I had my final PT session today. I began my first PT session on July 12. Before I was going to have my TKR surgery I inquired whether they accepted my health insurance and was told that they did. I knew from the first minute that I walked through their doors that this was the facility that I would have my PT in. As soon as I walk through the door I was always greeted by the front desk with a good morning and a smile. The facility is pristine, oh so clean. All the PTA's and assistants are friendly, warm and so very knowledgeable in their craft. A special thank you to Brooke Berkley who did my initial assessment and also was my PT. Another special thank you to Eleni Anastasis who I had most of my sessions with. They both helped me tremendously on my road to recovery. Sade, the Student PT as well was equally as wonderful and caring. There aren't enough wonderful adjectives or thank you's to describe just how wonderful I was treated. If you choose this facility you will definitely be in the best of hands on your recovery. Great job EVERYONE!!!

Johnny Gonzalez, is a very Professional in his job performance, very concerned about my Stenosis diagnosis. He pushes me do the best during physical therapy & advice what to do & not do....Johnny beside his skills in PT, hes a very humble and kind person.

I had a great experience with Frank, Eleni Anastasia, and Brooke Berkeley as my Physical Therapists at STARS Rehabilitation in Astoria. I couldn’t walk due to an ankle injury and they truly helped me transition from walker to crutches to cane to being independent without limping. They guided me in making sure I did the exercises correctly and safely. I worked the longest with Eleni and she is amazing; she is knowledgeable, patient, and extremely caring. Brooke is also great and will advocate for you (my health insurance wouldn’t approve much-needed sessions, and she got me additional ones approved). Both Brooke and Eleni will be your biggest cheerleaders and will recognize your progress and if there’s little improvement they are gentle in encouraging you to keep doing your exercises. Everyone at the practice is nice and the front desk staff always remembers your name.
