Wonderful place to visit! They have ambassador animals that you can see and learn about during the weekend encounters. Great ideas for Christmas gifts--you can get a painting done by Pepper the raccoon. And injured wild animals are treated at the hospital. Small admission to get in and donations are appreciated to provide for the animals. The raptors are so interesting!

Ohmygosh everytime we visit we learn something new!!! Today we learned a lot about snakes and that they shed their skin every couple months! Everyone is so friendly and informative. This is a great way to spend a couple hours

While not very large in size or selection of exhibits, the NM Wildlife Center is worth visiting. There are a few different avian cages where you can view several birds that have been healed, but that cannot be released back into the wild. There are also a few other animals viewable here, but the variety is very sparse.

Though the NM Wildlife Center is not really a premier zoo, there are other reasons to visit it. The main reason I feel the center is worth the effort is because its main mission is healing and treating wildlife. It also has an outreach program to teach children about the various animals in the area. The paltry charge to enter (I think it was 4 dollars) gave me the opportunity to see the end result of the care given to our state's wildlife, and made me feel a new appreciation for the work done there.

A wonderful non-profit that helps a variety birds, raptors, a raccoon, a coyote etc. They have eagles, owls, falcons and an osprey. This is a nice place to visit, it's not depressing. It's $5.00 per adult. They have an online gift shop. They have wonderful staff and volunteers!

Glad to see that the staff genuinely care about the well being of the rescued wildlife chase seems very passionate and enthusiastic about her job and has a very close bond with the animals especially juniper the gray fox

Awesome wildlife rescue and education center. Definitely stop by for a visit. Try to catch one of the animal encounters. Great cactus garden, and wildflowers adorned the grounds

Cool little wildlife center - mainly a raptorium with owls, eagles, and hawks. Also a cute little fox. All their animals are ones that can’t survive in the wild anymore.
