I was in this facility from 1/27/25 to 3/3/25. I had a broken back and some spinal/nerve damage. Upon admission it took two people just to get me standing and by release I could walk unassisted. This is a testament to the outstanding, professional physical and occupational therapists (shoutout to Kristina, Carlie & Gina, who were my main therapists). I worked with many other therapists as well. They are all excellent and each one added something incredibly valuable to my recovery. It’s not just the therapists that make this place special however, EVERY staff member onsite lives and breathes their mission of being passionate caregivers. The janitorial staff, kitchen crew, administrators, techs, nurses, doctors & therapists are all passionate about helping people. All my needs were taken care of promptly if not anticipated. Each and every person took the time to interact with me and make my rehabilitation something special. I’m leaving this place a better person because of these people and I’m in awe of what they do. If anyone I love is ever in need of rehabilitation, I will move mountains to get them in this hospital. I will never forget this experience or the incredible people that helped give me my life back. Oh, and the food is really good too!!

This Rehabilatation facility is fantastic. It transforms people’s physical and mental states. In the two weeks I spent here with a foot surgery I saw miraculous healing. The PT and OT departments are outstanding. They work you hard but safely. The facility is very clean. The nurses and nurse techs give exceptional care. They make you feel like you are special.

If you need outpatient physical rehabilitation in New Braunfels then this is the only place to get it from. They are phenomenal from the intake clerk Missy all the way to the actual therapists. Politeness, care and courtesy are paramount to the services provided. Therapists will safely encourage you to make progress while remaining ever watchful that if you have pain before, during, and after a session the therapy is adjust to accommodate for that.
I mentioned Missy in the outpatient office. She is a true gem of an asset to this facility. She deals with the all the insurance approvals and referrals. And most of all, she schedules therapy appointments that make coming to them fit your schedule best.
Every employee in the facility seen is pleasant and friendly. This says a lot about the company Ernest Health which operates New Braunfels Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.

I have heard too many good things about this hospital not to share a review. So many people have shared how they go there and immediately feel welcomed and are treated like family. I also have more than one family member working there that have never been happier in a work environment. We need more facilities like this. 🙂

I can’t recommend this place enough. I trusted them with my father going through a very tough time and was shown kindness and honesty throughout our entire time there. The rehab received was top notch and leadership kept me updated on all aspects of my father’s progress. I can’t say enough good things and am appreciate having this building in our community

I have been an inpatient and outpatient several times. All staff is very personable and attentive. The facility is CLEAN and the food is good. In the top 10% of hospitals in U . S , actually in the top 3% for many years. I always choose NBRRHOSPIAL

Awesome place to take place your love ones!!
Excellent care, therapy is fantastic!! Nurses and staff is so incredible and nurses and schedule is written in plane sight for patient and family to see who is working with the patient and their numbers to be reached if needed if scheduling had to be changed. For some reason or other. Regular showers and strict diet!!
