I have my daughters childhood dog that everyone knows and loves, she is a tiny but mighty white mini pin, she is now in her old age and after some bad new from another vet in Antioch, I brought her to this vet for some expected worse news after some health issues seem to worsen. To my surprise, she was diagnosed with a treatable disease, and within a day of the treatment, my old girl was (almost) like a new dog! She is spunky, jumps around, eats normal and begs for treats! For whatever time she has left, my Taza is with me and a much happier and active little girl, and even though she sleeps a lot, I don't mind her next to me snoozing! If you really want a facility with caring staff from start to finish, I highly recommend this doctor. They even refill medication!

Muir Oaks has been the best vet we have gone to. This is saying a lot because we have moved often and gone to at least 7 different vets in the last 6 years. They are great fantastic for veterinary care and they are amazing for boarding. My dog was extremely aggressive to most people and dogs, but here she was able to connect with the staff and feel more comfortable. They also comforted us when we unfortunately had to put her down. They gave us the kindness we needed and treated us like we really lost a family member, which we did. If I still lived in the area, I would be a lifelong client.

We have had such a great experience with this vet and everyone working there. It is full of caring, communicative, and professional staff. Our cat needed surgery for urinary stones, and after calling a handful of nearby vets, we were fortunate to try Muir Oaks, who did everything they could to get our cat in quickly. We could not have asked for a better vet experience through the surgery and after care. Thanks to the full Muir Oaks team! We will definitely be taking all of our cats here moving forward.

The Vets are great and fortunately, our cat is healthy!!
Boarding our cat has been even better than expected!!!

Before we came to Muir oaks, our previous vet wouldn't allow us inside the vet building with our pup. The previous vet also sedated our nervous pup heavily. At Muir oaks, we were treated much better. They knew our history and took that into account. The staff accommodated our dogs needs and made sure the whole family was comfortable! Thank you!!! We no longer dread going to the vet!

So because Muir vet didn't have time to see my dog the suffered a lot before she passed away she she passed away. She suffered for 24 hours . I forgot to say my mom's is the official owner of sweetie Kittelson her name is Kathy.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Herder-Jimison! She takes such wonderful care of our rescue, Cornbread, and helps ease his anxiety with each visit. Getting him current on his vaccinations and relieving minor issues leftover from his days at the shelter has been amazing, and he's finally looking/acting like the healthy young dog he's supposed to be. Love Muir Oaks! Very thankful for a local vet hospital that cares for their patients like their own.
