I want to express my sincere appreciation for the professionalism and compassion shown by Dr. Winston and Kim. They treated my dog on an emergent basis, on a holiday because our regular vet was away. I'm so impressed with the care she received, and the kindness with which it was performed. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone! Thank you so much for helping us!

Dr. Winston & her team are nothing short of amazing. From the moment we have started bringing our fur babies there they have made us feel like family. Dr. Winston is so incredibly knowledgeable and her team has never skipped one beat informing us and/or educating us on our pets health. We've contemplated moving back south but because of the care we receive from them we just cannot bring ourselves to leave the area. Thinking about taking our pets elsewhere just isn't an option! I would highly recommend this vet clinic to everyone. If I could rate them 100 stars I would!

I am still in disbelief of how I was treated by Dr. Winston, how she spoke to me, and accused me of lying. I'm writing this in hopes the vet tech who my dog bit has the opportunity to read it and hear my side of the story and to let the pet parents know how Dr. Winston thinks it's okay to speak to us. I do hope the vet tech is okay, despite Dr. Winston's snippy remark on the phone call I was begging her to end.

Unfortunately, as many dogs experience severe anxiety when going to the vet, my dog requires trazadone and a muzzle... He's 10 years old and does not have any history of aggression or biting. While at his appointment for annual shots, the way in which he was being held caused his muzzle to be removed and he bit the vet tech's hand or finger. I immediately asked if she was okay and she said 'no, I need to put ice on it' and left the room. I got the muzzle back on him so Dr. Winston could finish the shots, then another tech or assistant came in to get us checked out. When I left the exam room, I was planning on asking someone how the vet tech was but no one was at the front desk and my dog wanted to leave, so we left. Later that day I received a call from animal control informing me my dog was on a bite quarantine and was told about that process. I called the vets office back to schedule his follow up appt. and expressed my frustration that no one told me before we left that we'd have to go back the following week.
Dr. Winston called me back later this same day - I was still upset over the whole ordeal, my dog was still dry heaving and glassy eyed because of the drugs he had to take to even be seen by the vet. I can't remember exactly what she was saying to me but I asked if we could speak about it tomorrow because I was not in a state to be able to process the information. Dr. Winston did not ask about my dog's, her patient's, well-being. She ignored my request to reconvene by continuing to explain the process and the expense of the follow up requirements, which involved us paying for my dog to get micro-chipped, and that's when I asked 'at what point is this not my financial burden? The only reason the tech got bit was because of the way she was holding him removed his muzzle.' Apparently, Dr. Winston's vet techs never make mistakes because she said her tech has 10 years of experience and that she didn't purposefully remove his muzzle. I replied with the fact that I didn't say she did it on purpose, obviously she didn't, but at that point I think Dr. Winston stopped listening to me so I asked a second time to talk tomorrow or later in the week. She AGAIN ignored my request and then accused me of lying. She told me that I disregarded her recommendation to refill my dog's trazadone prescription and that she told me that because it was from 2022, it was expired. That did not happen. When I brought my dog in the week before to get a lump checked and then scheduled this appointment, Dr. Winston said he would need to be drugged in order to be handled because of his anxiety. I told her we had 5 pills left and her response was "that script is from 2022." and I said yes and then she said, 'okay, give him 2.5 the night before and 2.5 the morning of.' She did not express any concerns that those pills would be ineffective. But on the phone, she told me that I ignored her advice to get him a new script. I have never been spoken to so unprofessionally in my life. I hold honesty as my strongest value and she accused me of lying. She is the veterinarian, her obligation is to protecting my dog and her employees - if she thought he needed a new script to be safely handled, she could have insisted on giving him new meds or refused to see him until he was properly drugged but she didn't express any concerns like that. My responsibility is to protect my dog and the people he comes in contact with, why would I ignore her advice to ensure his well-being? This was an unfortunate situation, anxious pets are an assumed job hazard, and Dr. Winston handled it in the poorest fashion imaginable.

Daffney was the live of my life ,my partner of 13 years ,Dr Winston spend alot of time with me when she passed ,if you own a pet ,if you are looking for the absolutely best please go there ,the staff is a blessing also ,I'm not ready to pick up my girls ashes ,they are ok with that ,they are all very humble and kind ,

Our sweet lola woke up not feeling well this am, our vet office couldn’t not get her in, called several places and morton animal hospital was the only one and took her in immediately. Dr and staff took the time to talk to us and examine our fur baby, so very friendly and kind. We are now actually switching vets and will be using Morton animal hospital. I highly recommend them.

When I called them about a tiny foundling kitten, they made room for us that afternoon. My regular vet couldn't fit us in for 2+ weeks. The team was great and prices were affordable. Worth the drive to Morton.

Needed to take my cat in that I recently got and really had no idea on where to take her. So I started making phone calls two were not taking any more patients one was outrageously expensive finally called the Morton Clinic and got her in I have never been more pleased with a vet she was very thorough very caring very compassionate and her staff was unbelievably accommodating the office was clean and neat I will definitely be staying with this veterinarian.

So excited to have a great vet like Dr. Winston for the care of our new dog. We have seen her in the past at another facility, and were so excited to find her again. All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional, including the live-in cats. We will be clients for life!
