Terrible terrible terrible!! Ran a few minutes late for my appointment and they turned me away with my distressed cat in the carrier. Asked to speak with the vet and instead got the manager who was an arrogant, smug twenty something year old with no people skills all the while with a hideous smirk on her face. I reminded her that on my last visit they kept me waiting for 45 minutes. Dr. Mendiilo you ought to be ashamed!! This one star rating is too generous. Should be a negative 5 star. I will not be returning to his sham of an operation

I see some reviews where people complained about waiting for their visit. In 2022 Dr. Mendillo spent a lot of time with our less than 6 year old Boxer Mel when it was time to euthanize him. His mast cell tumor was ginormous and infected and my husband and I were having a difficult time saying good bye. Dr. Mendillo and Courtney were absolutely wonderful with our boy. I will never complain about waiting now that I know how they spend their time. We have two 11 month old Boxers and they are under Dr. Mendillo's care.

Both my dogs love the entire staff, (one is quite reactive to strangers and has no problem with anyone there) and they’re very accommodating and understanding!

I am so thankful I found Montowese Vet Clinic and Dr. Mendillo! I have a cat that despises the vet and yet, has given me many reasons to have to take him to the vet. Today they fit me in for an emergency visit and a relief vet was assigned to his case. The team at Montowese could not have been more professional dealing with my beast of a cat. They treated him with care and respect, and were unbelievably kind to me when clearly I should have medicated him before the visit. They have an experienced team and I’m at ease knowing that they’re coordinating the next steps for this issue. I trust that they’ll do the very best to make the next check-up (hopefully just his annual visit and not another emergency) as relaxing as possible for my cat. They always put the animal first and know how to deal with us pet-owners! Best vet clinic!

I would like to thank Dr. Mendillo and staff for their professionalism and concern. I called yesterday morning to make an appointment for my very sick 12-year-old cat, Chiquito. Though I was told Dr. Mendillo was booked all day, she still agreed to see Chiquito last minute. She spent almost an hour with my pet, getting blood and urine samples and performing a series of other tests. When I got a call back from Dr. Mendillo, she insisted that Chiquito be taken to the hospital immediately. Initially, I was reluctant to take her right away and was even willing to wait for the blood test results to come back the following day, but Dr. Mendillo talked me into rushing Chiquito to the ER. Even without the blood test results back, Dr. Mendillo provided an accurate diagnosis of my cat's condition--she suspected my cat had anemia and liver problems. Keep in mind that anemia in cats is cause of great concern as it could very well indicate the presence of feline leukemia virus.

Hours later, the vet at the animal hospital confirmed Dr. Mendillo's fears--my cat had, in fact, contracted feline leukemia virus and was suffering from a myriad of other health conditions. Last night, at around 10:30 p.m., my cat was euthanized. Even with aggressive treatment, there was no guarantee her health was going to improve, and by that point she was withering rapidly, breathing laboriously and refusing to eat. Euthanizing a pet is a heartbreaking decision, and while the pain of their absence is keenly felt and at times even barely endured, it is, ultimately, an act of mercy. I just couldn't subject my companion of 12 years to a prolonged and heart-wrenching death.

Thank you, Dr. Mendillo, for seeing Chiquito on what was to be her last day of life. I wish I'd taken her to you sooner, and maybe her suffering could've been avoided altogether.

I recommend Dr. Mendillo. Your pet is in good hands. Prices are also reasonably affordable.

I called to discuss switching my dog to them as a new patient , primarily looking for a less expensive alternative to the vet he sees now. They didn't even have he decency to return my call. Needless to say, I stayed with the vet I have. Guess it's true you get what you pay for.

Just started going to his clinic, since another vet I was going to started holding my cats special prescription cat food hostage (they wouldn't sell me anymore) until I brought her in for some shots. So I decided to look around. Dr. Breu is a straight shooter, I like that in a person actually, please just tell me like it is. My cat, Livie is 14 years old, an indoor cat and has always had a problem with throwing up her food, most vets over the years answer was a special diet, which didn't cure the problem but helped her in other areas, they also would say that "some cats just throw up a lot". So I took it as that, and that was my cats problem. She also has long fur, so there was the occasional fur balls too, which is normal. So getting to my point here and why I'm giving 5 stars is that Dr. Breu was the only vet that seemed overly concerned about her throwing up that much, called it "not normal" and looked deeper into what might be her issues causing her to throw up that often. After her blood work came back as good, she suggested a certain pill given twice a day that is supposed to help with the digestion/breakdown of the food to get into her system, and that something her digestion track might not be doing on it's own, hence causing the throwing up. She didn't know if this would cure or help the problem, but you have to start the process of elimination somewhere. Also my cat was loosing weight, which wasn't good, she's a small cat to begin with and in her "senior" cat years. I have to say since she's been on these pills going on a couple months now, I started to see a change, took a couple weeks to get it into her system, and then as the days continued to pass she was having fewer and fewer days of not throwing up her food, which was every other day prior. She's gone as long as 10 days without throwing up her food and has put on weight. She also seems so much happier, almost more loving, although she still has her quirks and attitude. What cat doesn't, and why we love them. I just hope it continues to solve her problem, and I feel absolutely horrible that she had to endure that for 14 years of her life. Thanks Dr. Breu and staff. Fingers crossed!!
