I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire team at [Ns -11 ] for the outstanding care and compassion they have shown to my mother. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel comfortable, respected, and truly at home.

The nurses, caregivers, and administrative staff have gone above and beyond to ensure her well-being, always treating her with kindness and dignity. The facility is well-maintained, and the environment is warm and welcoming. It gives me great peace of mind knowing she is in such capable hands.

A special thank you to all the nurses,SS worker , referral is for their dedication and personal attention. Your kindness has made all the difference in my mother’s life, and we are forever grateful.

I highly recommend Isabella home care to anyone looking for compassionate and professional elder care. Thank you for all that you do!

My Mom is currently at Isabella. Firstly the MCU ATM is not a public ATM. It is for people that are visiting a love one or work there. Why is this so? Well because it is a Nursing and rehabilitation center. If the MCU ATM was for the Public it would be outside the location. NYPD and FDNY using the ATM is totally different a random person that as a MCU account. Clearly whomever is complaining and crying about not being able to use the MCU ATM, does not have the money to pay the fee at a normal ATM. Smh. Ridiculous. I don't appreciate random people feeling they are entitled to use the MCU ATM just because they have a account with them.
Anyway the Eleventh floor staff is great to my Mom. I am truly thank full for that. But I must tell you in the evenings the phone be ringing like no one's business. I go offen to see her in the evenings and the phone stays ringing. The Daytime is very busy. The elevators are being held by staff doing there job. So one out of the four elevators are running. Then they stop on every floor if your love one is on a higher floor me my Mom. For the most part everything is clean. Nothing is perfect but it is clean enough. If you have a problem or issue they will correct and if it is not the way you like they will correct it. No it is not easy but they will get it done. Yes they are short staff. I even heard one of the staff people talking to another staff person about how to cut corners and spoke about having Security do work that was not part of their job. They said since they are already there they can check it their is any labs every hour or two. Why hiring another, that saves money. I was like wow, crazy. Thing is to visit your love one evey two weeks or once a month to make sure your love one is happy. Other then that Security is doing there thing, closely watching the facilities as they should.

I want to make a call to the health authorities of NY to let them know the terrible state of care for the elderly at Isabella Rehabilitation and Nursing Home located in Audubon 515-525 in the Bronx, the patients are literally abandoned, cleanliness is a priority however here dirt is normal in the rooms, I have my aunt in Isabellaby I have complained many times to the Social Worker, nurses, assistants and even with the same director without anyone attending to me!!! Not giving good care to the elderly confined there is a form of abuse, please a thorough inspection must be done and solve the problem of many abandoned elderly and that the insurance pays very well for each one of them, it is not fair!!! help please

I had a humiliating experience during my last trip to this nursing home. I went to isabella last week to use their atm.

The nursing home has a municipal credit union atm in the lobby just past the security desk. The normal protocol is to ask permission, and there never is a problem.

I went there in uniform(I work for dsny), and was granted permission by the male security guard to use the atm. After about 10 steps or so, I hear a female security guard who says “sir, you can’t use the atm. We only allow nypd, and fdny to use the atm, as per policy of the nursing home”.

I was so embarrassed, that I just walked out without even questioning her. I felt discriminated against for the color of my uniform. I am a city worker just like nypd, and fdny. It would have been different if she told me that the atm was only for staff and visitors of the nursing home. But what she told me was the definition of discriminatory practices.

I don’t understand how they can house a bank atm, and deny bank account holders access to the atm. If the issue is non visitors entering the building, then simply place the atm between the doors of the entrance, located before the security desk(I included pictures of the doors, and current atm location).

My next step is to contact mcu, and try to make a formal complaint, and then repost my experience on social media to make people aware. This is very disappointing, as this is the closest mcu atm location within the 10040 zip code area.
