This review is for my Husky and is long overdue. We were here in March of 2024 and Juno had to go through several tests to rule out Anal Gland Adenocarcinoma. Happier times would've been avoiding this medical scare altogether but I genuinely believe we couldn't have been luckier with the best team of doctors and staff to treat Juno. Jennifer Ree and the rest of the staff were all friendly, empathetic, and competent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this specific Mountain View location to anyone who needs it for their pet.

I have had a great experience so far. I brought my almost 10-year-old cat, who had a bladder blockage. Both vet technicians were extremely knowledgeable and took care of my cat immediately. This place is saved on my Google Maps for emergencies from now on.

I took my dog to this vet early in the morning last week; the tech and the vet herself were fantastic and empathetic about my concern with my pet. The receptionist Angel was not welcoming and she looked irritated so that made me feel very uncomfortable. She was very unpleasant to interact with from the beginning until the end of our time. I’ve been to a lot of vets before and I’ve never had an experience where I was ignored when I walked in. She didn’t even greet us upon entering and it felt like I wasn’t supposed to be there. Towards the end I asked her a question and she made it sound like I’m stupid and sounded pretty sassy. I hope this place will work more on training their receptionist because the experience starts there and first impression last so after my experiencewith her, I don’t think I’ll ever come back and I won’t recommend this place if you’re looking for good customer service.

I am so grateful MedVet exists. I used to have Adobe as my emergency go-to, but then Sage bought them and eliminated emergency hours. I never want another of my dogs to go to Sage emergency ever again, if I can help it. I used an e-vet in Lafayette until learning about MedVet. Everyone at MedVet is so kind and compassionate, and my frequent-flyer boy (pictured) even had some longtime fans there (they’d previously worked at Adobe and knew him well). We’ve always been seen in a timely manner and the dogs have gotten great care. This most recent time was for a much less serious reason than previously—my 5mo puppy swallowed a sock—and I knew it was out when I heard everyone in the back chorus, “Yaaaaay!!” I hope we don’t have any other emergencies anytime soon, but if we do I’m glad we can go to MedVet!

Every single staff member here treated my dog and I with so much care and thoughtfulness. After not being satisfied with the answer given to me by another vet, I took her to MedVet in Mountain View, and the whole experience was phenomenal from start to finish. They listened to my concerns, followed up with me to better understand the issue, they found the problem and fixed it!! The prices were reasonable given the fact that this is an Emergency Pet Hospital and not a regular clinic. I'm very happy and satisfied with my decision to bring my dog here. As a bonus, my dog is not a fan of vets, but she made a friend here ?

I still want to know WHERE/WHEN you cremated Buddy. Your staff couldn't answer, and apparently you have A.I. bots instead of humans answering here? 🙁 Buddy passed in your place the morning of Jan 2, 2024. I want to know where he was cremated, please.
Other than a serious miscommunication regarding my very firm request to spend one last minute with him "BEFORE the fatal shot," the doctor and diagnosis and service were good. Also the vet assistant had me in a room, away from my cat, telling me "his respiration rate is 70." I asked "what is normal for a cat?" and he did not know. An assistant should know the answer to this, in addition to knowing where/when these pets get cremated. Med Vet, would you please tell me who/when/where Buddy was cremated? 'better late than never, I wanted to know for religious reasons :l
